Kia Syros gets pricier after MY2026 update: Compact SUV now costlier across All variants
The Kia Syros receives a uniform price hike of ₹2,000 following its MY2026 update, along with new variants, fresh colours, and subtle design enhancements.
Kia India has officially revised the pricing of its compact SUV lineup, with the Kia Syros now becoming slightly more expensive following the latest MY2026 update.
The company has implemented a uniform price hike of ₹2,000 across all variants, taking the ex-showroom price range of the Syros to ₹8.42 lakh–₹15.82 lakh.
The revision comes shortly after the introduction of the MY2026 version of the SUV, which brought several updates aimed at strengthening its position in India’s highly competitive compact SUV segment.
Along with the price adjustment, Kia has also expanded the Syros lineup by introducing four new variants, giving buyers more flexibility in terms of features and pricing options.
The SUV now also gets three additional exterior colour choices — Ivory Silver Matte, Ivory Silver Gloss, and Magma Red — enhancing its visual appeal for younger buyers and urban SUV enthusiasts.
While the overall silhouette remains unchanged, the MY2026 Kia Syros features a series of subtle cosmetic updates. These include redesigned front and rear bumpers with a combination of body-coloured and black inserts, along with newly positioned horizontal LED fog lamps.

The SUV also receives a refreshed set of 17-inch alloy wheels, adding a slightly more premium and contemporary look to its road presence.
Despite these design and feature updates, the mechanical setup of the Syros remains untouched. The SUV continues to be offered with its existing petrol and diesel engine options, ensuring continuity in performance and efficiency for current and prospective buyers.

The Syros plays an important role in Kia’s India portfolio as the brand continues to expand its presence in the fast-growing compact SUV segment. With rising competition from multiple manufacturers, even minor updates such as styling enhancements and variant additions are seen as key to maintaining market relevance.
However, the latest price revision is likely to be a talking point among buyers, especially in a segment where value-for-money remains a crucial deciding factor.
With updated styling, additional variants, and a slightly higher price tag, the MY2026 Kia Syros enters the market with a refreshed identity, aiming to balance premium appeal with competitive positioning.
