Mira Rajput turns heads in a reinvented little black dress and It’s the colourful twist that’s stealing attention
From classic black elegance to vibrant chiffon drama, Mira Rajput proves the timeless LBD still has room for bold reinvention.
When it comes to timeless fashion staples, the little black dress (LBD) has long held its place as an undeniable classic. But just when it seemed every version of the iconic silhouette had been explored, Mira Rajput stepped out in a look that gave it a fresh and striking update.
Known for her effortless style and fashion-forward choices, Mira Rajput recently made a statement in a stunning creation by designer label Saaksha & Kinni, proving that classic black can still surprise.
The outfit, called the Zyra dress, reimagined the traditional LBD with a dramatic burst of colour and texture. The upper half of the dress stayed sleek and minimal, featuring a sleeveless, high-neck fitted bodice crafted in black Lycra. The structured fit added a polished and elegant appeal, keeping the look sophisticated.
But the real showstopper began at the waist.
Flowing into a floor-length tassel skirt, the lower half of the dress transformed into a playful canvas of multi-print chiffon panels. Each tassel carried a different design and colour palette from monochrome graphic patterns to vibrant red, blue, and chartreuse yellow prints creating a bold visual contrast against the simple black bodice.
The thoughtful construction of the outfit played a key role in making the look stand out. The fitted Lycra bodice maintained sharpness and structure, while the lightweight chiffon tassels added movement and fluidity, giving the ensemble an energetic and youthful edge.

Keeping the styling elegant, Mira opted for statement earrings by Amaris, paired with rings from E3K Jewellery and classic black pointed pumps. A bold red lip added the perfect pop of glamour, while her loose, flowing hair completed the effortless look.

Beyond fashion, Mira Rajput has also been making headlines for her recent social media activity. The entrepreneur and influencer, who is married to Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, recently shared her thoughts on the upcoming Cocktail 2 after attending a screening.
Posting a picture featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, she praised the film’s emotional depth and entertainment value, writing that it offered “laughs, emotion, joy, fun, gorgeous frames” while still feeling “strikingly real.”
Whether it’s her style choices or candid social media moments, Mira Rajput continues to make her presence felt and this latest fashion outing is proof that even the most classic wardrobe pieces can feel brand new with the right twist.
