Nani’s The Paradise reportedly collected Rs 93 lakh net in India on Day 13, taking its domestic net total to Rs 117.13 crore and worldwide gross to Rs 169.15 crore.

Nani’s The Paradise entered its second week with a comfortable Rs 100 crore-plus India net total, but the film is now beginning to feel the pressure of the weekday slowdown. On Day 13, the period action drama reportedly fell below the Rs 1 crore daily net mark for the first time, even as its worldwide collection continued moving towards Rs 170 crore.

According to box-office tracker Sacnilk, The Paradise earned an estimated Rs 93 lakh net in India on Day 13, registering a decline of around 15.5% from the previous day.

The latest collection takes its reported India net total to Rs 117.13 crore.

The Paradise falls below Rs 1 crore on Day 13

The decline comes after the film collected approximately Rs 1.10 crore on Day 12.

Its Rs 93 lakh Day 13 business suggests that maintaining momentum during the latter half of the second week could prove challenging.

The Telugu version continues to account for almost all of the film’s domestic business. On Day 13, the Telugu version reportedly contributed Rs 90 lakh net, while the Hindi version collected around Rs 3 lakh.

The film also recorded a reported 1,00,054 footfalls on Day 13.

Worldwide collection inches closer to Rs 170 crore

Despite the domestic slowdown, The Paradise has built a sizeable worldwide total.

Its reported India gross collection stands at Rs 138.10 crore, while overseas markets have contributed another Rs 31.05 crore gross.

That takes The Paradise’s worldwide gross collection to approximately Rs 169.15 crore after 13 days.

The film is therefore less than Rs 1 crore away from the Rs 170 crore worldwide milestone based on the reported figures.

The bigger question now is how much further it can travel as weekday collections continue to soften.

How The Paradise performed during its first week

The film started its theatrical journey on a considerably stronger note.

The Paradise reportedly collected Rs 11.60 crore from premiere screenings before recording an impressive Rs 34.65 crore net on Day 1.

It followed that with Rs 14.90 crore on Day 2, Rs 15.25 crore on Day 3 and Rs 15.70 crore on Day 4.

The weekday decline then became more visible.

The film earned around Rs 5 crore on Day 5, followed by Rs 4.40 crore on Day 6, Rs 3.40 crore on Day 7 and Rs 3.30 crore on Day 8.

Its reported first-week India net collection stood at Rs 108.20 crore.

Second-week slowdown becomes clearer

The second week started with Rs 2.80 crore on Day 9, followed by Rs 2 crore on Day 10.

There was a small improvement on Day 11, when the film reportedly earned Rs 2.10 crore, but the momentum did not last.

Collections dropped to Rs 1.10 crore on Day 12 before declining further to Rs 93 lakh on Day 13.

The latest trend means the film will now need stronger weekend business if it hopes to significantly expand its lifetime total.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remain key markets

The film continues to depend heavily on its core Telugu-speaking markets.

On Day 13, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana reportedly generated around Rs 1 crore gross, while Karnataka contributed approximately Rs 3 lakh. The rest of India added around Rs 4 lakh, taking the reported regional gross for the day to roughly Rs 1.07 crore.

What is The Paradise about?

Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise is a Telugu period action drama set against the backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad.

The story revolves around Jadal, played by Nani, who emerges as a leader of the marginalised Savari community as its members confront discrimination and fight for their rights.

Mohan Babu plays Shikanja Malik, while Raghav Juyal appears as his son Vikram Malik, Jadal’s childhood rival.

The ensemble cast also includes Kayadu Lohar and Sonali Kulkarni in important roles.

The film has been produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena, while Anirudh Ravichander composed the music. CH Sai handled cinematography and Navin Nooli served as editor.

Announced in March 2024, the film reportedly began shooting in Hyderabad in June 2025, with a significant portion filmed on specially constructed sets.

After multiple delays, The Paradise eventually arrived in theatres on September 24, 2026, in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.

With Rs 117.13 crore net in India and Rs 169.15 crore gross worldwide, The Paradise has already accumulated a substantial total. However, after its daily India collection slipped below Rs 1 crore on Day 13, its second-weekend performance could now determine how much further Nani’s film can push its theatrical run.
