Skoda has opened bookings for the second batch of the Octavia RS in India, with only 50 units available for buyers.

Skoda Auto India has opened bookings for the second batch of the Skoda Octavia RS in the country. The announcement was made during the launch event of the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift, bringing another opportunity for Indian performance-car enthusiasts to get their hands on the limited-run sedan.

The first batch of the Octavia RS arrived in India in 2025 with just 100 units on offer. For the second batch, Skoda has reduced the allocation even further, with only 50 units set to be available.

That makes the new batch particularly exclusive, especially for buyers looking for a performance-focused sedan with a more aggressive character than the standard Octavia.

Skoda Octavia RS Gets an Aggressive Design

The Octavia RS immediately sets itself apart with its sporty exterior treatment.

At the front, the sedan features sharp bumpers, sleek headlamps and distinctive DRLs, giving it a more aggressive road presence. A blacked-out honeycomb grille with prominent RS badging further highlights its performance-oriented identity.

The sporty theme continues towards the side and rear with aero alloy wheels, a boot-lid lip spoiler and twin exhausts. The rear also gets sleek, sharply designed lighting elements, completing the performance sedan’s distinctive appearance.

Sporty Cabin With Premium Features

The performance-focused treatment isn’t limited to the exterior. Inside, the Skoda Octavia RS gets specially designed sports seats with contrasting stitching and RS branding.

The cabin also features aluminium pedals, adding to its sporty character. A 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide convenient smartphone connectivity.

The sedan also gets an HVAC control panel and a three-spoke steering wheel, maintaining the driver-focused character expected from an RS-badged Skoda.

Interestingly, the engine start/stop function is integrated into the infotainment system, adding a modern touch to the cabin layout.

2.0-Litre Turbo Petrol Engine Produces 261 HP

The biggest attraction of the Octavia RS, however, is what’s under its bonnet.

The performance sedan is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

The engine produces an impressive 261 hp of peak power and 370 Nm of maximum torque.

These figures translate into serious performance. The Octavia RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds, while its claimed top speed stands at 250 km/h.

This combination of a powerful turbo-petrol engine, quick-shifting DSG gearbox and sporty design gives the Octavia RS a distinctive position among performance-oriented sedans in India.

Only 50 Units for the Second Batch

For buyers interested in the Skoda Octavia RS, availability will be the biggest challenge.

After offering 100 units in the first batch, Skoda has decided to bring only 50 units in the second batch. With the model already attracting attention among performance-car enthusiasts, the limited allocation could make the new batch particularly difficult to secure.

The opening of bookings therefore gives prospective buyers another chance to own one of Skoda’s most performance-focused offerings in the Indian market.

With 261 hp, a 250 km/h top speed and just 50 units available, the Octavia RS second batch is clearly aimed at enthusiasts who want something more exclusive than an ordinary sedan…
