Dhamaal 4 Box Office Day 3: Ajay Devgn’s Comedy Races Towards ₹100 Crore Worldwide Despite Mixed Reviews
A strong Sunday boost helped Dhamaal 4 collect ₹65 crore net in India, while the global box office total climbed to ₹92 crore in just three days.
Ajay Devgn-starrer Dhamaal 4 is beginning to find its rhythm at the box office despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. Released in theatres on July 10, 2026, the latest installment of the popular comedy franchise witnessed significant growth over its opening weekend, thanks to strong Sunday footfall.
After opening with ₹14 crore on Friday, the film registered healthy growth on Saturday by earning ₹22.50 crore. The momentum continued on Sunday as family audiences turned up in larger numbers, helping the comedy entertainer collect an impressive ₹28.50 crore.
With this, Dhamaal 4 has amassed ₹65 crore net at the Indian box office within its first three days. Its domestic gross collection now stands at approximately ₹78 crore, reflecting a steady upward trend after a slow start.
Worldwide Collection Nears ₹100 Crore
The film has also performed reasonably well in overseas markets.
According to early estimates, Dhamaal 4 has earned around ₹14 crore gross internationally during its opening weekend. Combining domestic and overseas collections, the film’s worldwide gross has reached ₹92 crore, putting it within touching distance of the ₹100 crore milestone.
Trade analysts will now closely watch its weekday performance to determine whether the film can maintain its momentum after the weekend rush.
Popular Franchise Returns with Familiar Faces
Dhamaal 4 marks the return of one of Bollywood’s most successful comedy franchises after the success of Total Dhamaal.
The film features Ajay Devgn as Guddu and Riteish Deshmukh as Lallan, while fan-favourite duo Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi reprise their iconic roles as Adi and Manav.
The ensemble cast also includes Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Vijay Patkar, and Upendra Limaye in important roles.
A Treasure Hunt Filled with Comedy
The story revolves around Guddu, Lallan, Adi, Manav, Paaro, Rosy, and Adhoora as they embark on a chaotic adventure to locate Shaitaan Singh’s hidden treasure. Packed with slapstick humour, misunderstandings, and over-the-top situations, the film attempts to recreate the comic magic that made the franchise a fan favourite.

The movie is jointly produced by T-Series Films, Panorama Studios, Devgn Films, Maruti International, and Anand Pandit Motion Pictures.
On the music front, the soundtrack has been composed by Rohansh Pandit and Abeer Pandit, while veteran composer Amar Mohile has delivered the background score. Songs like Chatni, Qeher, and Saree have attracted attention, with Saree serving as a recreated version inspired by Sanju Rathod’s popular track Gulabi Sadi.
Mixed Critical Response

Although audiences have shown interest over the weekend, critical reception has remained divided.
Several reviewers praised the film’s nostalgic appeal and comic cast, while others criticised its lengthy runtime, repetitive humour, and uneven screenplay. The mixed word-of-mouth makes the upcoming weekdays crucial for the film’s long-term box office performance.
With ₹92 crore worldwide already in its kitty, Dhamaal 4 now needs a solid Monday hold to cross the coveted ₹100 crore mark and continue its successful theatrical run.
