‘DC’ Box Office Day 13: Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Film Slips Again on Second Wednesday, Nears ₹60 Crore Mark…
The Arun Matheswaran directorial collected ₹1.65 crore on Day 13, taking its India net total beyond ₹60 crore as the second-week slowdown continues.
DC’ is continuing its theatrical run, but the Lokesh Kanagaraj starrer witnessed another dip in its daily box office earnings on the second Wednesday.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the Tamil romantic action drama earned ₹1.65 crore net in India on Day 13, compared with ₹1.90 crore on Day 12. The latest figure represents a drop of around 13.2%.
Despite the slowdown, the film has now crossed the ₹60 crore mark in India, while its worldwide earnings have moved closer to ₹100 crore.
‘DC’ Day 13 Box Office Collection
As per Sacnilk data, ‘DC’ recorded an estimated ₹1.65 crore India net collection from 2,157 shows on Wednesday.
The Tamil version remained the film’s biggest contributor, earning approximately ₹1.20 crore from 1,457 shows, with overall occupancy of around 21%.
The Telugu version added approximately ₹44 lakh from 655 shows, also recording around 21% occupancy.
Meanwhile, the Hindi version contributed roughly ₹1 lakh from 45 shows, with occupancy standing at around 9%.
With the Day 13 earnings added, the film’s estimated India net collection has reached ₹60.31 crore.
Its India gross collection stands at approximately ₹69.44 crore, while overseas earnings are estimated at ₹21.85 crore.
This takes the film’s worldwide gross collection to around ₹91.29 crore.
How Has ‘DC’ Performed So Far?
The film opened its theatrical journey with an estimated ₹4.40 crore on Day 1.
Its collections improved significantly over the following two days, with Day 2 bringing in ₹7 crore and Day 3 recording ₹9.55 crore.
The film then collected ₹6 crore on Day 4, followed by ₹5.55 crore on Day 5 and ₹5.25 crore on Day 6.
On Day 7, ‘DC’ earned another ₹4.15 crore, taking its first-week total to approximately ₹41.90 crore.
The second week began with ₹2.86 crore on Day 8. The film then saw a noticeable jump over the weekend, earning ₹5.50 crore on Day 9 and ₹4.50 crore on Day 10.
However, the momentum weakened again as the weekday shows arrived.
Day 11 brought in ₹2 crore, followed by ₹1.90 crore on Day 12 and ₹1.65 crore on Day 13.

Second-Week Slowdown Becomes Visible
The latest figures indicate that ‘DC’ is experiencing the usual weekday slowdown during its second week.
While the film has maintained a presence across Tamil and Telugu markets, the drop in occupancy and daily collections suggests that its theatrical run is now entering a more challenging phase.
The crucial question will be whether the film can generate another weekend boost and push its worldwide gross comfortably beyond the ₹100 crore milestone.
