Nani’s The Paradise to Release Without a Trailer; Actor Reveals Why Team Made the Unusual Call: ‘I Personally Don’t Like It…’
Nani confirms that The Paradise will arrive in theatres on September 24 without a traditional trailer, revealing that the surprising decision was collectively taken by the film’s team.
Nani’s The Paradise is taking an unconventional route to the big screen. With the highly anticipated film now scheduled to hit theatres on September 24, the actor has confirmed that audiences should not expect a trailer before its release.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise has already gone through multiple changes to its theatrical release date. The film was initially announced for March 26, subsequently shifted to August 21, and is now preparing for its September release.
But the decision to skip the trailer entirely has emerged as one of the biggest surprises surrounding the project.
Why is The Paradise releasing without a trailer?
Speaking at a recent press meet, Nani revealed that he was personally keen on putting together a strong trailer for the film. However, after discussions within the team, the makers collectively decided not to release one.
“I think there won’t be a trailer for Paradise. Even though I personally don’t like it and really want to cut a good trailer, the entire team collectively made a decision,” Nani said, according to India Today.
The actor reiterated that the film would reach cinemas without a conventional theatrical trailer.
The move is particularly unusual for a major release, as trailers traditionally play a crucial role in revealing a film’s tone, characters and larger narrative ahead of its theatrical debut. In the case of The Paradise, however, the makers appear determined to keep much of the movie under wraps until audiences see it on the big screen.
Nani teases an emotional mother-son story
While the team is keeping the film’s larger story guarded, Nani did offer an intriguing glimpse into its emotional core.
The actor described The Paradise as featuring a “beautiful mother and son story,” suggesting that beneath its intense presentation, the relationship could form an important part of the narrative.
That emotional element could also add another dimension to Srikanth Odela’s film beyond the action and dramatic imagery associated with the project so far.

‘Telugu is definitely our prime target’
Nani also addressed the growing tendency to describe large-scale films released across several languages as “pan-India” projects.
Despite The Paradise reaching audiences in multiple languages, Nani said the makers are not positioning the movie specifically as a pan-India film.
“Telugu is definitely our prime target, and I hope audiences in other languages also watch Paradise and enjoy it equally,” he said.
His comments make the film’s strategy clear: Telugu audiences remain the primary focus, while its multi-language release is intended to take the story to viewers across other markets as well.
The Paradise final cut locked

Another major update is that the final version of The Paradise has reportedly been locked.
The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes, making it a relatively lengthy theatrical experience.
Nani leads the cast, while Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal feature in prominent roles. Juyal will be seen playing the antagonist Vikram Maalik, adding another negative character to his growing body of work.
The film also marks another collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela. Given the expectations surrounding the project, the decision to release it without a trailer is likely to fuel even more curiosity in the final days before its arrival.
Instead of revealing more footage through a conventional promotional campaign, the makers are seemingly betting on the film itself to deliver the surprises.
With September 24 approaching, audiences will soon discover whether keeping The Paradise largely under wraps proves to be a clever promotional gamble.
