Siddharth has described wife Aditi Rao Hydari as his “soulmate”, saying he is grateful for her every day and cannot imagine what his life would have been like without her.

Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari’s relationship has long won hearts with its warmth and understated romance. Now, Siddharth has offered a deeply personal glimpse into what his wife means to him, describing Aditi as his “soulmate” and admitting that he cannot imagine his life without her.

While Aditi Rao Hydari has spoken about their relationship on several occasions, Siddharth shared his perspective during a recent conversation with journalist Nayandeep Rakshit.

And his words left little doubt about how strongly he feels about their bond.

‘Addu is my soulmate’

Speaking about finding love, Siddharth said his belief in love and soulmates eventually led him to Aditi, whom he affectionately calls “Addu.”

“I met Addu because I believe in love and in soulmates. And Addu is my soulmate,” Siddharth said.

The actor went on to share a simple message for those hoping to find the right person.

“If you want a soulmate, you just have to believe in love. The universe is listening,” he added.

But it was Siddharth’s next admission that made his feelings particularly clear.

“I thank Addu every day for being born. I can tell you my life would have been rubbish without her. So, I’m very, very grateful,” he said.

The heartfelt confession offers a rare glimpse into Siddharth’s emotional side and the place Aditi holds in his life.

“I have to give a lot of credit to Siddharth for this,” she said.

Aditi explained that before falling in love, it was important for her to genuinely admire the person she was choosing to be with.

According to the Heeramandi actor, his empathy, sensitivity and willingness to communicate are among the qualities she particularly values.

“Siddharth is someone who encourages dialogue. Who is intelligent, but also very, very sensitive and empathetic,” Aditi said.

She also emphasised that, for her, feminism extends beyond gender and is rooted in a broader sense of humanity and equality.

Her comments offered another perspective on why the relationship works for the couple — not simply because of romance, but also because of mutual respect, communication and emotional safety.

Siddharth and Aditi’s relationship continues to win hearts

Both actors have generally kept the more intimate parts of their relationship away from constant public attention, but their occasional comments about each other have provided fans with glimpses into their bond.

For Siddharth, that bond comes down to something remarkably straightforward: his belief that he found his soulmate.

And while celebrity relationships often attract attention for grand gestures, Siddharth’s confession was considerably simpler.

Calling Aditi his soulmate, saying he thanks her every day and admitting that life without her would have been “rubbish” perhaps says more than an elaborate declaration ever could.

For Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari, their individual accounts of the relationship point towards the same foundation love, admiration, emotional safety and mutual respect.
