While the claim has not been officially confirmed by the actor or the society, it has sparked widespread discussion about the unique screening process reportedly followed by some of Mumbai’s elite residential communities.
A Housing Society Interview Before Moving In?
According to reports, Varun had purchased an apartment in a newly constructed residential building in Juhu. However, owning the property reportedly wasn’t enough to secure immediate possession.
The report claims that every prospective resident is required to meet with a designated member of the housing society, who evaluates applicants before granting final approval.
Despite being one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, Varun and Natasha were reportedly asked to undergo the same process.

The report further claims that the couple successfully impressed the society during the interaction.
A source quoted in the report suggested that Varun’s popularity in the film industry, combined with Natasha Dalal’s business family background, made them an ideal fit for the community.
According to the source, approval for the apartment was granted only after the interview process was completed.

Juhu has long remained one of Mumbai’s premium residential destinations due to its proximity to the film industry and luxury lifestyle.

Varun Dhawan and fashion designer Natasha Dalal have known each other since childhood.
After dating for several years, the couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in January 2021. They embraced parenthood in June 2024 with the birth of their daughter, Lara.
