The film has also performed strongly in international markets.

On Day 8, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit added around ₹8 crore overseas, pushing its cumulative overseas gross to ₹75.50 crore.

As a result, the film’s total worldwide gross collection now stands at ₹147.65 crore, putting it within touching distance of the ₹150 crore milestone.

The overseas performance is particularly significant, with international earnings now slightly higher than the film’s cumulative India gross.

Kerala Continues to Lead the Box Office

Unsurprisingly, Kerala remained the film’s strongest domestic market on Day 8.

The state contributed approximately ₹9.60 crore gross, while Karnataka added around ₹65 lakh. Tamil Nadu contributed another ₹30 lakh.

The rest of India brought in around ₹45 lakh, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together contributed approximately ₹10 lakh.

The film’s overall India gross for Day 8 stood at ₹11.10 crore.

From ₹4.90 Crore Opening to ₹9.55 Crore on Day 8

What makes the film’s box office trajectory interesting is its steady rise after opening day.

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit began its theatrical journey with ₹4.90 crore net on August 21. Collections jumped to ₹7.15 crore on Saturday before climbing further to ₹8.80 crore on Sunday.

The film benefited from its release around the Onam festive season, traditionally an important period for Malayalam cinema.

After earning ₹6.90 crore on Day 4, the film picked up momentum again with ₹7.90 crore each on Day 5 and Day 6.

It then collected ₹8.75 crore on Day 7, before rising to ₹9.55 crore on Day 8.

The second-Friday growth suggests that the film continues to attract audiences even after completing its first full week in theatres.
