Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups may have lost some of its opening-day momentum, but the big-budget action drama continues to add important milestones to its box office run.
After storming theatres on August 26 with a massive opening, Toxic has seen its daily collections fall considerably. On Day 4, the film had collected an estimated ₹10.02 crore net in India so far, according to early figures reported by Sacnilk.
With this, the film’s cumulative India net collection stands at around ₹175.97 crore, while its India gross has reached approximately ₹209.92 crore.
The Day 4 numbers are still developing, meaning the final figure could change as additional collections are reported.
Toxic Day 4: Hindi Continues to Dominate
The Hindi version remained the film’s biggest contributor on Day 4, collecting approximately ₹6.07 crore so far.
The Kannada version followed with around ₹3.03 crore, while Telugu contributed approximately ₹58 lakh and Tamil added another ₹34 lakh.
Despite originating as a Kannada-led project, Toxic’s performance in the Hindi-speaking markets has emerged as one of the biggest talking points of its theatrical run.
Toxic Hindi Version Crosses ₹100 Crore
The biggest milestone arrived from the Hindi market, where Toxic has entered the ₹100 crore club within its first four days.
Its Hindi collection reportedly began with a staggering ₹55 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹19.75 crore on Day 2 and ₹24.25 crore on Day 3. The film added more on Day 4 to push the Hindi total beyond the coveted ₹100 crore mark.
The achievement further strengthens Yash’s popularity in North India, following the phenomenal success of the KGF franchise.
How Fast Did Other South Films Reach ₹100 Crore in Hindi?
Toxic’s achievement also places it among a select group of South Indian films that have crossed ₹100 crore from their Hindi versions at remarkable speed.
According to figures cited by Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 and KGF: Chapter 2 reached the milestone in just two days.
Baahubali: The Conclusion took three days, while Toxic has now achieved the milestone in four days.

RRR, meanwhile, reportedly needed five days to enter the ₹100 crore Hindi club.
For Yash, the result demonstrates that the audience he built beyond Karnataka with KGF continues to translate into substantial Hindi-market business.
From ₹101 Crore Opening to ₹10 Crore on Day 4
However, Toxic’s daily trend tells another story.
The film opened with a spectacular ₹101.10 crore net in India on Day 1, immediately establishing itself as one of the biggest openings of the year.
Collections then dropped sharply to ₹37.65 crore on Day 2, followed by approximately ₹27.20 crore on Day 3.
On Day 4, early estimates stood at ₹10.02 crore, indicating another considerable slowdown.
While drops after a huge opening are not unusual, the scale of the decline will keep attention firmly on the film’s performance over the coming days.
₹500-Crore Budget Raises the Stakes
The box office trajectory becomes even more significant considering the film’s reported production cost.
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has reportedly been mounted on a budget exceeding ₹500 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films.
That means a huge opening alone may not define its eventual theatrical verdict. Sustained collections in India and overseas will be crucial to determining the film’s overall commercial performance.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is set against the backdrop of post-independence Goa.
The story follows a gangster navigating a world shaped by violence, loyalty, morality and redemption.
Yash leads the ambitious project, while its star-studded cast includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi in prominent roles.
The film was released across multiple languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, underlining its pan-India ambitions.
