Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Box Office Day 15: Nivin Pauly-Mamitha Baiju Film Crosses ₹100 Crore Net But Its Worldwide Total Is the Bigger Surprise

The box-office momentum of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is showing little sign of disappearing even as the Malayalam film enters its third week in theatres.

Released on August 21, 2026, the romantic comedy starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju has emerged as a strong theatrical performer. On its 15th day, the film added an estimated ₹2.15 crore India net as of the latest available update, according to figures reported by trade tracker Sacnilk.

With this, the movie’s cumulative India net collection stands at approximately ₹103.76 crore, while its reported India gross has reached ₹121.15 crore.

And that’s only part of the story.

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Day 15 Box Office Collection

On Day 15, the film was reportedly playing across approximately 766 shows at the time of the update.

The Malayalam 2D version registered around 42% overall occupancy, with morning shows also recording approximately 42% occupancy. Figures for afternoon, evening and night shows were yet to be fully reported at the time of the collection update.

Among major markets, Kochi continued to show considerable interest in the film, recording approximately 58% occupancy across 184 shows.

Trivandrum followed with around 43% occupancy from 140 shows, while Bengaluru recorded approximately 18% occupancy across 111 shows.

These numbers indicate that the romantic comedy continues to attract audiences despite having already completed two weeks at the box office.

How Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Reached ₹100 Crore Net in India

The film began its theatrical journey with a solid ₹4.90 crore on its opening day.

Collections then jumped to ₹7.15 crore on Day 2 and ₹8.80 crore on Day 3.

On Day 4, the film collected approximately ₹6.90 crore, followed by ₹7.90 crore each on Days 5 and 6. It added another ₹8.75 crore on Day 7, taking its reported first-week collection to around ₹52.30 crore.

But rather than losing steam immediately after the first week, the film delivered another impressive weekend.

According to the reported trade estimates, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit collected ₹9.55 crore on Day 8, ₹10.20 crore on Day 9 and ₹10.40 crore on Day 10.

Collections subsequently moderated, with approximately ₹6 crore on Day 11, ₹5.15 crore on Day 12 and ₹4.50 crore on Day 13.

The sustained performance ultimately helped the film cross the coveted ₹100 crore India net milestone.

Worldwide Collection Crosses ₹230 Crore

The film’s performance outside India has made its overall box-office story even more remarkable.

According to the figures available so far, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit had reached an estimated ₹112 crore overseas gross by Day 14.

Combined with its domestic business, the movie’s reported worldwide gross collection stood at approximately ₹231.25 crore.

That puts the film comfortably beyond the ₹200 crore worldwide milestone, an impressive achievement for the Malayalam romantic comedy.

However, box-office figures particularly overseas and worldwide estimates can vary between trade trackers and distributors, and final numbers may be revised.

Day 14 Saw Strong Night Occupancy

The film reportedly ran across approximately 1,855 shows on Day 14, recording strong audience turnout in several markets.

Its Malayalam 2D version registered approximately 40.87% overall occupancy, with 20.25% during morning shows, 28% in the afternoon, 46.25% in the evening and an impressive 65.67% during night shows.

The sharp rise towards the evening and night sessions demonstrated that the film was still finding audiences well into its second week.

Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju Lead Girish AD’s Romcom

Directed by Girish AD, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit features Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles.

The supporting cast includes Vinay Forrt, Bindu Panicker, Shyam Mohan, Suresh Krishna, Shameer Khan and Srindaa.

The story follows Ashley, who returns home after spending time abroad. When a wedding takes place in his neighbourhood, old memories resurface, including those connected to his first love, Justin.

Blending romance, family relationships, nostalgia and second chances, the film has seemingly found a strong connection with audiences.

Behind the scenes, Vishnu Vijay composed the music, Ajmal Sabu handled cinematography and Akash Joseph Varghese served as editor.

With more than ₹100 crore India net and a reported worldwide collection exceeding ₹230 crore, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has already delivered a notable box-office run.

The bigger question now is how far the Nivin Pauly-Mamitha Baiju film can go before its theatrical journey finally begins to slow down.
