Khushi Kapoor Buys a 180 Sq Ft Flat in Bandra for ₹63 Lakh Here’s How Much She Paid Per Sq Ft
Khushi Kapoor, daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi, has reportedly purchased a compact residential property in Mumbai’s sought-after Bandra West for ₹63 lakh. The apartment measures just 180 sq ft in carpet area, according to property registration documents.
Bollywood actress Khushi Kapoor has reportedly added a new property to her name in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighbourhoods, and its compact size is likely to grab as much attention as its location and price.
The actress has purchased a 180 sq ft residential apartment in Bandra West for ₹63 lakh, according to property registration documents accessed by real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix.
The transaction was registered on September 1, 2026, with the apartment located in Samtadeep Building on 25th Road, Bandra West.
While ₹63 lakh is a substantial amount for a home measuring only 180 sq ft in carpet area, its location in Bandra West helps explain the premium.
Khushi Kapoor’s Bandra Flat Measures 180 Sq Ft
According to the registration details, the apartment has a carpet area of 180 sq ft and a built-up area of 216 sq ft.
The registered consideration for the transaction stands at ₹63 lakh.
Khushi reportedly purchased the property from Farooq Chagla, while the transaction also involved approximately ₹3.15 lakh in stamp duty.
Based purely on the registered consideration and carpet area, the purchase works out to approximately ₹35,000 per sq ft.
When calculated using the 216 sq ft built-up area, the effective rate comes to around ₹29,167 per sq ft.
These calculations are based on the consideration value recorded in the registration documents and should not necessarily be interpreted as the prevailing market rate for other properties in Bandra West.
Why Bandra West Commands Such a Premium
For decades, Bandra West has remained one of the most desirable residential addresses in Mumbai.
Its appeal comes from a combination of connectivity, restaurants, social infrastructure, premium housing and proximity to major commercial and entertainment hubs.
The neighbourhood particularly areas around Pali Hill is also closely associated with Bollywood celebrities and high-net-worth residents.
Its location offers relatively convenient access to major entertainment hubs including Andheri, Juhu, Versova and Goregaon, making Bandra particularly attractive to people working in the film and media industries.

This combination of limited space and strong demand means even compact residential units in the neighbourhood can command significant prices.
Who Is Khushi Kapoor?
Khushi Kapoor is the younger daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and legendary actress Sridevi.
She followed her family into the entertainment industry and made her acting debut with The Archies in 2023, before going on to work in Hindi films.
Her sister, Janhvi Kapoor, is also an established Bollywood actress, while her half-brother Arjun Kapoor has been part of the Hindi film industry for more than a decade.
Khushi Kapoor and the seller reportedly could not be reached for comment regarding the property transaction.
Bollywood Families Have Long Preferred Mumbai’s Western Suburbs
Celebrity-linked property transactions in and around Mumbai regularly attract attention, particularly in neighbourhoods such as Bandra, Khar, Juhu and Pali Hill.

In another reported property transaction in 2025, Anjali Tendulkar, wife of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, purchased an apartment in Virar for approximately ₹32 lakh for a staff member.
Property documents accessed by Zapkey reportedly showed that the apartment, located in Peninsula Heights, measured around 391 sq ft and was situated on the third floor.
The transaction was registered on May 30, 2025, with approximately ₹1.92 lakh stamp duty and ₹30,000 registration fees, according to the documents.
Meanwhile, Gauri Khan, interior designer and wife of Shah Rukh Khan, reportedly rented a 2BHK apartment in Khar West for staff in 2025.
The reported starting rent was ₹1.35 lakh per month under a three-year leave-and-license agreement, with the property situated close to the family’s temporary residence in Pali Hill while Mannat underwent renovation.
₹63 Lakh for 180 Sq Ft Location Makes the Difference
Khushi Kapoor’s reported purchase once again illustrates just how valuable residential space can be in prime areas of Mumbai.
At ₹63 lakh for 180 sq ft of carpet area, the size of the apartment may sound unusually compact. But in a neighbourhood such as Bandra West, where land availability is limited and demand remains high, location can carry a substantial premium.
For Khushi, the purchase adds another celebrity name to the long list associated with Mumbai’s famous western suburb although what she intends to use the compact property for has not been publicly confirmed.
