Ali Fazal has offered fans a deeply personal glimpse into his life, admitting that his passion for storytelling and cinema often comes at the cost of missing important moments with friends and loved ones. In a heartfelt social media post, the actor described himself as “imperfect”, while reflecting on his emotional journey during the making of his latest series, Raakh.

Sharing a series of photographs on Instagram, the Fukrey star expressed gratitude to the cast and crew of Raakh, calling the project one of the most meaningful experiences of his career.

Ali confessed that he has never been someone who openly expresses his emotions. Instead, he prefers to show affection through quiet gestures, ensuring that the people closest to him know they are appreciated and valued in his own unique way.

The actor also acknowledged that his deep involvement in films and creative work often causes him to lose track of time. He revealed that he frequently misses birthdays, celebrations and social gatherings because he becomes completely immersed in his work and imagination.

Despite admitting these shortcomings, Ali said he has accepted that perfection is not who he is. Rather, he believes his greatest strength lies in being emotionally present for the people who matter, listening to them and offering support whenever they need it.

Reflecting on his latest project, the actor said Raakh became much more than just another acting assignment. According to him, the series encouraged introspection and self-awareness, reminding him of the importance of the people who help shape an individual’s personal growth.
