Did Hrithik Roshan pay ₹400 crore alimony to Sussanne Khan? Farah Khan Ali breaks silence and reveals the truth
Years after one of Bollywood’s most talked-about divorces, Sussanne Khan’s sister has finally addressed the viral ₹400 crore alimony claim — and her statement may surprise many.
The divorce of Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan remains one of Bollywood’s most discussed separations, even years after the couple parted ways.
When the two ended their 14-year marriage in 2014, rumours spread rapidly claiming that Sussanne had demanded a massive ₹400 crore alimony settlement from the actor. The speculation became one of the biggest celebrity gossip stories of that time.
Now, Farah Khan Ali, Sussanne’s sister, has finally addressed the long-standing claim — and she has completely shut it down.
In a recent conversation, Farah called the reports “a lie” and made it clear that no such financial settlement ever took place.
She revealed that the separation between Hrithik and Sussanne was entirely amicable, despite the enormous media attention and public speculation surrounding their personal lives.
According to Farah, both handled the difficult phase with maturity and grace.
She strongly emphasized that Sussanne did not take “anything” from Hrithik and said their upbringing taught them to value relationships over wealth or material possessions.
Farah also defended her sister against labels often attached to celebrity divorces, saying Sussanne conducted herself with dignity and sophistication throughout the process.
She highlighted that because there was no bitterness or financial battle, Sussanne continues to share a healthy bond not only with Hrithik but also with his family, including Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan.

Interestingly, Farah also revealed that she had often encouraged Sussanne to publicly deny the alimony rumours after the divorce was finalised, but Sussanne chose to stay silent.
According to her, Sussanne’s response was simple — she didn’t care about public opinion.
That silence, however, allowed the rumours to continue for years.
Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan share a long personal history. The two reportedly knew each other since childhood before getting married in December 2000, shortly after Hrithik’s blockbuster debut in Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai.

Together, they have two sons — Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
Though the couple announced their separation in 2013 and officially divorced in 2014, they have remained close friends and continue to co-parent their children.
Even today, they are often spotted together at family gatherings, vacations, and celebrations — something many fans admire.
With Farah’s statement now setting the record straight, one of Bollywood’s most viral divorce rumours may finally be put to rest.
