Leaked details suggest the Vivo X500 series could arrive with premium OLED displays, flagship MediaTek processors, and advanced camera systems led by a 200MP periscope sensor on the Pro Max.

New Delhi: Vivo is reportedly gearing up to launch its next-generation flagship smartphone lineup, the Vivo X500 series, which is expected to make its debut in China in September 2026. Although the company has not officially announced the launch date, several leaks and certification listings suggest that the global rollout could follow shortly after.

According to reports, the Vivo X500 series will consist of four smartphones the Vivo X500, Vivo X500e, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500 Pro Max. The lineup is expected to bring significant upgrades in design, display, performance, and camera technology.

Premium design expected across the lineup

The standard Vivo X500 is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED display with ultra-slim bezels and a modern design. Leaked renders suggest it could sport a large circular rear camera module positioned toward the upper-left corner.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are expected to adopt a more premium design with centrally aligned circular camera modules. The Pro variants are reportedly being tested with display sizes of around 6.37 inches and 6.85 inches, respectively.

The displays are expected to offer 1.5K or 2K resolution, support refresh rates of up to 144Hz, and feature narrow bezels for an immersive viewing experience.

Next-generation MediaTek processors likely

Under the hood, the standard Vivo X500 is expected to be powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9600 chipset built on a 3nm process, delivering improved performance and energy efficiency.

The higher-end X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max could debut with the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, reportedly based on a 2nm architecture, making them among the first smartphones to feature next-generation flagship processors.

Camera upgrades could be the biggest highlight

Photography is expected to be one of the strongest selling points of the new lineup.
