Fresh leaks suggest Samsung's Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra could feature triple rear cameras with different telephoto lenses.

Although the Samsung Galaxy S26 series debuted earlier this year, fresh leaks have already begun shedding light on the company’s next-generation flagship lineup. According to recent reports, Samsung could expand its Galaxy S27 series to four models in 2027 by introducing a brand-new Galaxy S27 Pro.

The upcoming Pro variant is expected to sit between the Galaxy S27+ and the Galaxy S27 Ultra, offering premium features while differentiating itself from the Ultra model in a few key areas.

Triple Rear Cameras for Pro and Ultra

A new report suggests that both the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra could feature a triple rear camera setup, marking a departure from the quad-camera system found on the current Ultra model.

According to the leaked information, both smartphones are expected to include:

  • 200MP primary camera
  • 50MP ultra-wide camera
  • Dedicated telephoto camera

However, the telephoto sensors are expected to differ between the two premium models.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra may feature a 50MP telephoto camera with up to 5x optical zoom, while the Galaxy S27 Pro is tipped to offer a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Camera Setup on Standard Models

The report also claims that the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ could receive a more modest camera configuration, including:

Samsung has not officially confirmed these specifications, and the information remains based on early leaks.

Different Chipsets for Different Markets

Another report indicates that Samsung may continue its strategy of using different processors across global markets.

The Galaxy S27 Pro is reportedly expected to launch with the Exynos 2700 chipset in Europe and South Korea. Meanwhile, customers in the United States could receive both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 Pro for Galaxy processor.

This approach would mirror Samsung’s previous flagship launches, where chipset availability has varied depending on the region.

Nothing Official Yet

While the latest leaks offer an early glimpse into Samsung’s future flagship lineup, the company has not officially announced the Galaxy S27 series or confirmed any of the reported specifications.

With the expected launch still many months away, more details are likely to emerge as Samsung moves closer to unveiling its 2027 flagship smartphones.
