Oppo F35 Pro 5G and Oppo F35 5G have been introduced in India with 8,000mAh batteries, 80W fast charging and 50MP selfie cameras.

Oppo has expanded its F-series lineup in India with the launch of the Oppo F35 Pro 5G and Oppo F35 5G, marking the 10th anniversary of the company’s popular smartphone series.

This time, Oppo is betting big on two features that immediately stand out a massive 8,000mAh battery and a 50MP selfie camera. Both phones also support 80W wired fast charging, while their rear camera setup is led by a 50MP primary sensor.

Despite sharing several headline specifications, the two devices are positioned differently. The F35 Pro 5G gets the more powerful processor, faster storage, a higher-resolution display and a more versatile camera system.

Oppo F35 series price in India

The Oppo F35 5G starts at ₹38,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant has been priced at ₹42,999.

The Oppo F35 Pro 5G starts at ₹45,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.

Additional configurations of the Pro model have also been listed, including an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version at ₹45,999, while 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations are listed at ₹49,999 and ₹54,999.

Oppo is offering promotional benefits that include a 10% instant bank discount and a 10% exchange bonus.

The smartphones are expected to go on sale in India later this month through Amazon, Flipkart and Oppo’s online store.

Oppo F35 Pro 5G gets a 144Hz AMOLED display

Display specifications are one of the biggest differences between the two phones.

The Oppo F35 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The screen also supports an instant touch sampling rate of up to 4,000Hz and is claimed to reach 1,800 nits of peak brightness.

The standard Oppo F35 5G features a smaller 6.57-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness.

Different MediaTek processors under the hood

Oppo has also used different chipsets for the two models.

The F35 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max, while the F35 5G gets the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max.

Both smartphones use LPDDR4X RAM, but storage speeds differ. The Pro model features UFS 3.1 storage, whereas the standard F35 uses UFS 2.2 storage.

50MP selfie camera on both models

Cameras are another major focus of the new F35 lineup.

Both the Oppo F35 5G and F35 Pro 5G feature a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls. At the back, both phones are equipped with a 50MP primary camera.

The Pro model, however, gets additional camera hardware.

The F35 Pro 5G pairs its main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide camera offering a 116-degree field of view. It also features dual-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS).

The standard F35 instead comes with a 2MP monochrome camera alongside its 50MP main sensor.

Video recording also separates the two devices. The standard F35 can record videos at up to 2.5K resolution, while the Pro model supports 4K video recording at up to 30fps.

8,000mAh battery becomes the biggest talking point

The most striking specification, however, may be the battery.

Both smartphones pack a huge 8,000mAh battery, making battery capacity one of the biggest highlights of the new F35 series.

The phones also support 80W wired fast charging, giving users a combination of high battery capacity and relatively fast charging.

For heavy smartphone users who spend hours watching videos, gaming, browsing or using 5G connectivity, the large battery could prove to be one of the F35 series’ strongest attractions.

Oppo adds IP69K protection

Oppo has also placed considerable emphasis on durability.

Both smartphones carry IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for resistance to dust and water under specified testing conditions.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C.

The smartphones also support GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou for navigation.

For security, Oppo has provided an in-display fingerprint sensor along with face unlock.

Android 16-based ColorOS 16.5

The Oppo F35 series runs ColorOS 16.5 based on Android 16.

On paper, Oppo appears to have built the new F35 series around endurance and cameras. The 8,000mAh battery, 80W charging and 50MP selfie camera are available on both phones, meaning buyers do not necessarily need the Pro model to access the lineup’s biggest headline features.

The F35 Pro 5G, however, justifies its higher positioning with a 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, Dimensity 7360 Max chipset, UFS 3.1 storage, 8MP ultra-wide camera, OIS and 4K video recording.

With those differences, Oppo is giving buyers a fairly straightforward choice: pick the regular F35 for the core battery and camera experience, or move to the Pro for the stronger display, performance and camera package.
