Lamborghini Urus SE Performante Unveiled: 800 HP Hybrid Super SUV Breaks New Ground
Lamborghini unveils the Urus SE Performante — its fastest and most powerful SUV ever, with 800 hp and a 312 kmph top speed.

Italian supercar giant Lamborghini has taken the wraps off its most powerful and fastest Lamborghini Urus SE Performante yet, raising the bar in the high-performance SUV segment.

The newly revealed Urus SE Performante builds on the foundation of the hybrid-powered Lamborghini Urus SE, but pushes performance, aerodynamics and handling even further.

At its heart is the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain, now tuned to produce a massive 800 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque an increase of 11 hp and 50 Nm over the standard Urus SE.

This makes it the most powerful Urus ever built.

According to Lamborghini, the super SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds and hit a staggering top speed of 312 kmph, making it one of the fastest SUVs in the world.

The powertrain combines the V8 engine with a synchronous electric motor, supported by a 25.9 kWh battery pack positioned under the load floor to improve weight distribution and lower the centre of gravity.

The SUV also offers an electric-only driving range of 59 kilometres, blending performance with efficiency.

Power is sent through an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which has been recalibrated for quicker responses and lower torque lag. The system is paired with Lamborghini’s advanced all-wheel-drive setup featuring an electronically controlled centre clutch.

One of the biggest mechanical highlights is the upgraded dual-chamber air suspension, which significantly improves cornering ability.

Lamborghini claims body roll has been reduced by 55 per cent, while body vibrations are down by 25 per cent, promising a sharper and more controlled driving experience.

Inside the cabin, the Urus SE Performante gets lightweight Corsa Tex Dinamica upholstery, a suede-inspired microfiber material designed to cut weight while maintaining luxury.

Buyers can also choose leather seats depending on preference.

The redesigned steering wheel now features carbon-fibre detailing, adding to the sporty feel, while the SUV retains its dual 12.3-inch displays for instrumentation and infotainment.

Exclusive graphics inspired by Lamborghini’s flagship Lamborghini Revuelto make the cockpit even more distinctive.

On the outside, Lamborghini has gone aggressive with exposed carbon-fibre elements across the bonnet, roof, side skirts, front wings, and rear diffuser.

These not only reduce weight but improve aerodynamics.

The SUV now features redesigned bonnet vents with an S-Duct layout, larger air intakes, and more pronounced splitters, side skirts, and spoilers.

Together, these upgrades improve aerodynamic efficiency by 3 per cent and increase downforce by 23 per cent over the standard Urus SE.

New NACA ducts have also been integrated to improve brake cooling, enhancing braking performance by around 8 per cent.

The high-performance SUV rides on 22-inch or 23-inch alloy wheels as standard, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres.

For colder regions, buyers can opt for Pirelli Scorpion Winter 2, while track-focused customers can choose Bridgestone Potenza Race semi-slick tyres.

With the Urus SE Performante, Lamborghini is making one thing clear the era of hybrid super SUVs is here, and it’s faster than ever.
