The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has launched in India at Rs 79,999, featuring an Exynos 2500 chipset, 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a 50MP triple rear-camera setup.

Samsung has expanded its premium smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, the company’s latest Fan Edition handset.

The new smartphone combines several flagship-inspired features with the familiar FE formula, including a high-refresh-rate Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, a triple rear-camera system and the company’s latest software experience.

However, the price could become one of the biggest talking points. The Galaxy S26 FE costs Rs 79,999 in India, although Samsung is offering several launch benefits that could reduce the effective cost for eligible buyers.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE price in India

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has been launched in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration, priced at Rs 79,999.

Buyers can choose between three colour options Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite.

Samsung has also announced multiple introductory purchase offers.

Customers exchanging an eligible old smartphone can receive an upgrade bonus of up to Rs 8,000. Buyers can also choose up to 30 months of no-cost EMI through select NBFC partners, alongside an additional Rs 3,000 upgrade bonus, subject to applicable terms.

Alternatively, Samsung is offering Rs 7,000 cashback on eligible major bank cards or a 12-month no-cost bank EMI option.

Customers purchasing the smartphone through Samsung’s e-store can additionally choose an 18-month bank EMI option.

Galaxy S26 FE gets a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display

On the front, the Galaxy S26 FE features a large 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which should provide smoother scrolling, animations and gaming compared with traditional 60Hz panels.

Samsung’s AMOLED displays have long been a major part of the Galaxy experience, and the S26 FE continues that approach with a large panel aimed at entertainment, gaming and everyday productivity.

Exynos 2500 powers Samsung’s new Fan Edition

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is powered by the company’s Exynos 2500 processor.

The smartphone pairs the chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage in its sole Indian configuration.

With the S26 FE, Samsung is positioning the device as a premium Fan Edition option for buyers who want features associated with the broader Galaxy S26 family without necessarily stepping up to other models in the flagship series.

50MP triple camera and 3x optical zoom

Photography is handled by a triple rear-camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary camera.

Another notable feature is 3x optical zoom, giving users greater flexibility when photographing subjects at a distance without relying entirely on digital magnification.

The combination makes the camera system an important part of the Galaxy S26 FE’s premium positioning, particularly for buyers who want more versatility than a basic dual-camera arrangement.

Android 17 and One UI 9 out of the box

Software is another major highlight of the new Samsung Galaxy S26 FE.

The smartphone ships with One UI 9 based on Android 17, bringing Samsung’s latest software experience straight out of the box.

That makes the software package one of the key talking points surrounding the device, alongside the new processor and camera hardware.

Is the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE worth Rs 79,999?

At Rs 79,999, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE sits firmly in premium smartphone territory, making its value proposition particularly important.

The Exynos 2500 processor, 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 50MP triple-camera setup with 3x optical zoom, 256GB storage and Android 17-based One UI 9 create an attractive package on paper.

The bigger question is whether buyers will find enough value in the Fan Edition formula at this price, especially in a highly competitive premium smartphone market.

Samsung’s launch offers could make that decision easier. Eligible buyers who take advantage of exchange bonuses, cashback or no-cost EMI schemes may be able to bring down the effective upfront burden considerably.

For existing Samsung Galaxy users looking to upgrade while remaining within the company’s ecosystem, the S26 FE could therefore prove appealing. For everyone else, its Rs 79,999 launch price means comparisons with other premium smartphones will be inevitable.
