NEW DELHI: Samsung appears to be getting ready for another Fan Edition smartphone, and this time the Galaxy S26 FE could bring more than just a few hardware upgrades.

An alleged hands-on video of the upcoming smartphone has surfaced online, giving enthusiasts an early look at its design. The leak also points towards a powerful Exynos 2500 chipset, a 120Hz display and a redesigned rear camera arrangement that could make the phone look more closely related to the standard Galaxy S26.

Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S26 FE or its specifications, so the information currently remains part of the rumour and leak cycle.

Galaxy S26 FE Launch Could Happen in September

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is rumoured to make its debut in September 2026, potentially during IFA 2026.

If that timeline is accurate, Samsung could unveil the Fan Edition model relatively soon.

The FE series has traditionally attempted to bring some of Samsung’s flagship experience to consumers at a comparatively lower price. The S26 FE is expected to follow that approach while introducing several changes of its own.

Leaked Video Shows a Noticeably Different Rear Design

The biggest visual change appears to be at the back.

A 32-second video shared on X by user Bradley (@VerdeSelvans) reportedly shows an alleged Galaxy S26 FE in a blue finish.

The handset appears to feature a flat rear panel, rounded corners and a flat display with relatively slim bezels.

But the camera arrangement is what immediately catches the eye.

Instead of the individual camera rings seen on the Galaxy S25 FE, the upcoming phone is reportedly moving towards a vertical camera island containing three sensors, with an LED flash positioned alongside it.

The design reportedly resembles the camera treatment expected on the standard Galaxy S26, potentially giving the FE model a more unified look within the flagship family.

Exynos 2500 Could Power the Galaxy S26 FE

Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 FE is tipped to feature Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor.

The leaked specifications reportedly include:

Among the features reportedly being tested are Photo Assist and Document Scan, which could make editing images and digitising documents more convenient.

Another interesting addition could be Horizon Lock, a video feature designed to keep footage level even when the phone is rotated while recording.

If included in the final software package, these features would help Samsung differentiate the S26 FE beyond its raw specifications.

4,900mAh Battery With 45W Charging

Battery life could also receive attention on the Galaxy S26 FE.

The smartphone is tipped to pack a 4,900mAh battery and support 45W wired charging.

The combination should provide enough capacity for everyday use, although actual endurance will depend heavily on the processor, display brightness, software optimisation and usage patterns.
