Redmi Note 17 Geekbench Listing Reveals Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 Ahead of India Launch | Dainik Diary
The Redmi Note 17 has reportedly surfaced on Geekbench ahead of its expected India launch, revealing a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset and Android 16.

The upcoming Redmi Note 17 has reportedly been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform ahead of its anticipated launch in India. Although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the smartphone’s launch date or specifications, the latest listing offers an early glimpse at the device’s hardware and performance.

The Indian variant is expected to debut next month and is likely to share many of the specifications introduced with its Chinese counterpart earlier this month.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 Processor Powers the Device

According to the reported Geekbench listing, the smartphone carries the model number Xiaomi 26021RN18I, which is believed to represent the Indian version of the Redmi Note 17.

The listing points to an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, featuring six efficiency cores clocked at 1.96GHz and two performance cores running at 2.30GHz.

If the information proves accurate, the Redmi Note 17 could become one of the first smartphones in India to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor.

8GB RAM and Android 16-Based HyperOS 3

Benchmark data suggests that the handset is equipped with approximately 7.33GB of RAM, which is expected to be marketed as 8GB RAM.

The listing also indicates that the smartphone will run Android 16 with HyperOS 3, Xiaomi’s latest custom operating system, offering users the newest software experience from the company.

Geekbench Scores Hint at Better Performance

The Redmi Note 17 reportedly achieved 950 points in the single-core test and 2,324 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.7.1.

These scores suggest a noticeable improvement over the Redmi Note 15 5G, which recorded 408 and 1,532 points in single-core and multi-core benchmark tests, respectively.

While benchmark scores do not always reflect real-world performance, they indicate that the upcoming smartphone could deliver a more responsive user experience for everyday tasks and multitasking.

Expected India Launch and Price

Previous reports indicate that Xiaomi may launch the Redmi Note 17 in India on August 6, with sales expected to begin on August 11.

The smartphone is also tipped to be priced below ₹20,000, making it a strong contender in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment.

Although Xiaomi has started teasing some features of the device, the company has not yet officially announced the launch date or confirmed the specifications.

With an upgraded processor, the latest Android software, and an expected affordable price tag, the Redmi Note 17 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated smartphone launches in its category.
