Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup teased ahead of August 14 debut… Here’s what the rugged lifestyle truck could offer
Mahindra has dropped the first official teaser of the Scorpio N Pickup ahead of its August 14 unveiling, with expectations of a 2.2-litre diesel engine, 4×4 capability, and a tough new design.
New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra has officially teased the much-awaited Scorpio N Pickup ahead of its global unveiling on August 14, 2026. The company shared a new promotional video on its official Instagram handle, giving automobile enthusiasts a fresh glimpse of the pickup truck that has been in the spotlight since its concept debut in 2023.
The upcoming pickup is expected to be based on the popular Scorpio N SUV platform, combining the rugged appeal of a lifestyle truck with the capability of an off-road utility vehicle. The teaser hints at a muscular stance, bold styling, and adventure-focused features, although Mahindra has not yet revealed complete technical specifications.
The Scorpio N Pickup is likely to retain several design elements from the SUV, including its signature front fascia, while featuring a dedicated cargo bed and a more robust rear profile. Industry experts expect the production model to receive a reinforced chassis and improved load-carrying capacity, making it suitable for both commercial applications and recreational use.
Under the hood, the pickup is widely expected to be powered by Mahindra’s proven 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, which currently powers the Scorpio N. Depending on the variant, the engine could be paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

One of the biggest highlights is expected to be the availability of a 4×4 drivetrain, making the pickup a capable option for off-road enthusiasts and customers looking for a versatile vehicle that can tackle challenging terrain. Mahindra may also offer multiple drive modes and advanced terrain management features similar to those available on the Scorpio N SUV.
Inside the cabin, buyers can expect a premium yet practical layout featuring a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, connected car technology, and a host of safety features. While Mahindra has not confirmed the equipment list, the pickup is expected to borrow several comfort and convenience features from its SUV sibling.

The Scorpio N Pickup was first showcased as a global concept in South Africa in 2023, generating significant interest among pickup truck enthusiasts. Since then, the model has remained one of Mahindra’s most anticipated upcoming vehicles.
With the official unveiling now just days away, the company is expected to reveal complete details regarding the truck’s design, specifications, powertrain, features, and international launch plans during the global event on August 14.
The upcoming Scorpio N Pickup is expected to strengthen Mahindra’s presence in the growing lifestyle pickup segment and could become a strong competitor in markets where demand for adventure-oriented utility vehicles continues to rise.
