He added that perseverance and determination helped him rediscover his best form.“You’ve only got two options. Either you give up or you keep working to rediscover your form. I chose to keep going.”

Buttler also revealed that he had hoped to overtake Kieron Pollard during an earlier match when the West Indies legend was present.“It would’ve been nice to get past Polly while he was there. Some great names are on that list, so I’m really proud.”
