Chiranjeevi accidentally revealed the title of his upcoming film with Bobby Kolli as Kadiri during a promotional event, ahead of its official announcement.

Hyderabad: Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi has once again lived up to his popular ‘Chiru Leaks’ meme after revealing the title of his upcoming film, Mega 158, ahead of its official announcement.

The veteran actor made the unexpected revelation during a promotional event for his nephew Varun Tej’s latest film, Korean Kanakaraju. The makers had reportedly planned to unveil the title officially on August 22, but Chiranjeevi ended up revealing it earlier while interacting with the audience.

During the event, a behind-the-scenes video from the film’s commencement pooja ceremony was played. In the clip, Chiranjeevi was seen teasing director Bobby Kolli, saying that he would reveal the title himself when the time was right.

The anchor then jokingly encouraged the actor to “leak” the title, referencing the long-running social media joke about Chiranjeevi unintentionally sharing confidential details about his projects during public appearances.

As the audience cheered him on, music composer Thaman S repeatedly gestured to Chiranjeevi not to reveal anything. However, while discussing the upcoming teaser, the actor accidentally let slip that the film is titled Kadiri.

Realising what he had done, Chiranjeevi immediately covered his mouth and laughed. When Thaman urged him not to reveal any more details, the actor smiled and said, “I can’t stop myself,” drawing loud cheers and laughter from the audience.

The light-hearted moment quickly gained attention online, with fans once again celebrating the actor’s habit of unintentionally revealing information before official announcements.

Fans await updates on Vishwambhara

While many fans enjoyed the surprise title reveal, others expressed curiosity about Vishwambhara, Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited socio-fantasy film directed by Mallidi Vassishta.

The film was originally expected to release in 2025, but its launch was postponed following criticism of the visual effects showcased in the teaser. Since then, the makers have remained silent, leading some fans to speculate about the project’s future. However, no official statement has suggested that the film has been shelved.

Busy schedule ahead

Chiranjeevi was last seen in Anil Ravipudi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, co-starring Nayanthara. Released during the Sankranthi festival this year, the film received mixed reviews but emerged as a commercial success, reportedly earning more than ₹300 crore at the box office.

The actor is currently filming Kadiri with Bobby Kolli and also has another project lined up with director Srikanth Odela, who is presently occupied with Nani’s upcoming film The Paradise.

With the title now unexpectedly out in the open, fans will be eagerly waiting for the makers to officially unveil the first teaser and share more details about Kadiri on August 22.
