From Ayushmann Khurrana to prince Narula: Where are MTV roadies winners now? Some became superstars, Others vanished
Over the years, MTV Roadies has produced some of India’s biggest reality stars. While a few went on to dominate Bollywood and television, others chose a quieter life away from fame.
For more than two decades, MTV Roadies has remained one of India’s most iconic reality shows, introducing audiences to bold personalities, fierce competitors, and future stars. While some winners transformed their victories into successful careers in films, television, and digital media, others quietly stepped away from the limelight.
With Kushal Tanwar lifting the trophy in the latest season, here’s a look at where some of the most popular Roadies winners are now.
The journey began with Rannvijay Singha, the face of the inaugural season, who went on to become the very identity of the franchise. From hosting Roadies to leading gangs and later anchoring MTV Splitsvilla, Rannvijay built an enduring television legacy. He also ventured into films like London Dreams and Action Replayy, along with web series like Mismatched and Kohrra.
One of the biggest success stories from Roadies is undoubtedly Ayushmann Khurrana. Winning the show became his stepping stone into Bollywood, where he carved a unique space with films like Vicky Donor, Andhadhun, Article 15, Dream Girl, Badhaai Ho, and Bala. Today, he stands among Bollywood’s most respected actors and is preparing for a new film with Sooraj Barjatya.
Parul Shahi, the first female winner of Roadies, made brief appearances on television before stepping away from the entertainment world completely.
Similarly, Anthony Yeh, known for his calm demeanor during the competition, chose to maintain a private life away from media and showbiz.
Another memorable winner, Ashutosh Kaushik, became a reality TV legend by winning not just Roadies but also Bigg Boss Season 2, a rare double victory in Indian reality television history.
Nauman Sait explored modelling and television after his win but eventually faded from mainstream entertainment.
On the television front, Aanchal Khurana made a strong transition from reality TV to daily soaps, starring in shows like Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Meri Hanikarak Biwi, and Barrister Babu.
Then came Prince Narula, arguably Roadies’ biggest reality TV success. After winning Roadies, he went on to conquer Splitsvilla, Bigg Boss 9, and Nach Baliye, later becoming a Roadies gang leader himself.

Winners like Balraj Singh Khehra, Shweta Mehta, Kashish Thakur Pundir, Arun Sharma, and Hamid Barkzi have largely stayed active through music videos, reality shows, fitness influencing, and social media collaborations.
The franchise also made history with dual winners Ashish Bhatia and Nandini G, both of whom remain active in digital entertainment and brand collaborations.
Recent winners like Vashu Jain and the latest champion Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, are now building their careers through influencer campaigns and social media fame.
From Bollywood blockbusters to fitness empires and reality TV dominance, MTV Roadies has proven to be much more than just a competition it has become a launchpad for many dreams, each taking a very different path.
