Vivo T5x 5G, iQOO Z11x 5G Get Costlier in India: Prices Rise by Up to ₹4,000 Here’s What You’ll Pay Now
Vivo and iQOO have quietly revised the prices of their popular 5G smartphones in India. The latest hike pushes the Vivo T5x 5G as high as ₹34,999, while the iQOO Z11x 5G now starts at ₹24,999.
Buying a capable mid-range 5G smartphone in India is becoming a little more expensive.
Vivo and iQOO have revised the prices of the Vivo T5x 5G and iQOO Z11x 5G, respectively, with updated listings on the companies’ official online stores showing higher prices across multiple configurations.
The latest revision raises prices by as much as ₹4,000 compared with their previously revised rates.
More strikingly, both smartphones are now considerably more expensive than when they first arrived in India in March.

Vivo T5x 5G New Price in India
The Vivo T5x 5G is now listed at ₹27,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The 8GB + 128GB configuration has moved up to ₹30,999, while customers wanting 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will now have to spend ₹34,999.
The smartphone is offered in Cyber Green, Fusion Red and Star Silver colour options.
The numbers become particularly interesting when compared with the phone’s original launch prices.
When Vivo introduced the T5x 5G in India in March, it started at just ₹18,999. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations were initially priced at ₹20,999 and ₹22,999, respectively.
Prices were subsequently increased to ₹24,999, ₹27,999 and ₹30,999 before this latest revision.
That means the top-end Vivo T5x 5G, which originally cost ₹22,999, is now listed at ₹34,999 a substantial ₹12,000 difference from its launch price.
Vivo T5x 5G Specifications: What Do You Get for ₹27,999?
Despite the higher price, the Vivo T5x 5G continues to offer some competitive hardware.
The smartphone features a 6.76-inch Full-HD+ LCD display supporting up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness.
Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset, while the software experience is based on Android 16 with OriginOS 6.
Photography duties are handled by a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera, accompanied by a 2MP bokeh sensor. On the front, Vivo provides a 32MP selfie camera.
One of the phone’s biggest selling points remains its battery.
The T5x 5G packs a massive 7,200mAh battery with 44W charging support, making it particularly appealing to buyers who prioritise endurance.
It also carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, alongside Military Grade Shock Resistance.
iQOO Z11x 5G Also Gets More Expensive
It isn’t just Vivo customers who will have to spend more.
The iQOO Z11x 5G has also received a price revision in India.
Its 6GB + 128GB model is now priced at ₹24,999, while the 8GB + 128GB configuration costs ₹27,999.
The top-end 8GB + 256GB model is currently listed for ₹30,999.
Buyers can choose between Prismatic Green and Titan Black colourways.
iQOO Z11x Started at Just ₹18,999
Much like the Vivo T5x, the difference from the iQOO Z11x 5G’s launch pricing is considerable.
When the smartphone debuted in March, iQOO priced its base 6GB + 128GB model at ₹18,999.
The 8GB + 128GB version launched at ₹20,999, while the 8GB + 256GB configuration carried a price tag of ₹22,999.
The latest prices mean buyers now need to spend significantly more for exactly the same memory configurations.
For the base model alone, the difference between the launch price and current listed price stands at ₹6,000.

iQOO Z11x 5G Specifications
The iQOO Z11x 5G shares several specifications with its Vivo counterpart.
It features a 6.76-inch Full-HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits.
Under the hood sits the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo, while the smartphone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

Why Are Smartphone Prices Increasing?
The revisions come at a time when the smartphone industry is dealing with higher component costs.
Rising prices of crucial memory components such as DRAM and NAND are putting additional pressure on manufacturers, contributing to higher production costs.
That pressure is increasingly visible at the retail level.
Price increases are no longer limited to expensive flagship smartphones. The impact is also beginning to reach the mid-range segment, where even a difference of ₹2,000 to ₹4,000 can substantially change how competitive a device looks against its rivals.

At their original launch prices, both smartphones offered aggressive value. After repeated revisions, however, buyers have more reason to compare alternatives before purchasing.
The iQOO Z11x 5G, starting at ₹24,999, remains the cheaper of the two at current listed prices.
Meanwhile, the Vivo T5x 5G starts at ₹27,999 and reaches a considerably higher ₹34,999 for its 256GB version.
Both still offer attractive features such as 120Hz displays, Dimensity 7400 Turbo processors, 7,200mAh batteries and strong water-resistance ratings.
But their changing prices tell the bigger story.
For Indian smartphone buyers accustomed to getting increasingly powerful hardware at aggressive prices, the era of consistently cheaper mid-range phones may be facing some serious pressure.
