UK-based brand Nothing Technology, known for its transparent design philosophy and aggressive pricing strategy, has also increased prices for its Phone 4a series.
The base model now starts at a higher price point than its earlier launch, with increases ranging from ₹2,000 to ₹4,000 depending on configuration. Interestingly, the Phone 4a Pro is also expected to see upward revision, although some pricing is yet to reflect across official channels.
Company executives have previously acknowledged that global memory inflation—reportedly rising multiple times compared to last year—is forcing structural changes in smartphone pricing worldwide.
Realme takes a mixed approach: hikes and a surprise cut
In a slightly unusual move, Realme has adopted a mixed pricing strategy.

While models like the Realme 16 and 16 Pro Plus have seen price hikes of up to ₹4,000, the Realme 16 Pro has surprisingly received a price cut of up to ₹3,000 depending on variant. The move suggests an attempt to balance demand across segments while maintaining competitiveness in the crowded mid-range market.
