Beijing: Redmi’s next flagship smartphone appears to be one step closer to launch. A new Xiaomi device, widely believed to be the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro, has surfaced on Geekbench, revealing several key specifications ahead of its official debut.

Although the company has not confirmed the device’s identity, the benchmark listing offers an early glimpse into what could be one of Redmi’s most powerful smartphones to date.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Takes Center Stage

The Geekbench listing is associated with model number M511CD, which is yet to be officially identified by Xiaomi. According to the benchmark database, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, internally known as QTI SM8850.

The chipset features an octa-core CPU with two high-performance cores clocked at 4.61GHz and six efficiency cores running at 3.63GHz, indicating a significant performance boost for premium Android smartphones.

16GB RAM and Android 16

The listing also reveals that the smartphone is equipped with 16GB of RAM and runs Android 16 out of the box. Xiaomi is expected to ship the device with its latest custom software, although it remains unclear whether it will feature HyperOS 3 or the newer HyperOS 4.

In Geekbench testing, the device achieved 3,429 points in the single-core test and 10,461 points in the multi-core test, suggesting flagship-grade processing capabilities. However, benchmark scores from pre-release hardware should be viewed as preliminary and may change before the final launch.

Identity Yet to Be Officially Confirmed

While many reports identify the M511CD as the Redmi K100 Pro, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the model name.

The connection largely stems from information shared by Chinese tipsters and an earlier appearance of the same model number on China’s 3C certification platform, where it was certified with 100W wired fast charging support.

Until Xiaomi makes an official announcement, the device’s identity remains based on industry reports rather than company confirmation.

Expected Specifications

Previous leaks have suggested that the Redmi K100 series could arrive with several premium upgrades.
