Beijing: Oppo has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Oppo A7 Pro Max, giving smartphone enthusiasts a closer look at the device ahead of its debut. The company announced that the handset will be unveiled in China on August 4, while also confirming multiple colour options, storage configurations, and several design elements.
The smartphone has already generated interest after Oppo revealed earlier that it would feature a massive 10,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest battery-equipped smartphones in its segment.
Launch Date and Availability
According to Oppo, the Oppo A7 Pro Max will launch in China on August 4 at 2:30 PM local time (12:00 PM IST).
The handset is currently available for pre-order through the company’s official online store in China ahead of its launch.
Three Colour Options
Oppo has confirmed that the smartphone will be available in three colour finishes:
- Dark Mountains (Black)
- Riding the Waves (Blue)
- The Future is Bright (Orange)
The names are translated from Chinese and showcase Oppo’s distinctive branding approach for the new device.

The Oppo A7 Pro Max will be offered in three memory configurations:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage
- 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage
- 12GB RAM + 512GB Storage

Design and Build
Official promotional images reveal that the smartphone features a flat rear panel with a 3D embossed texture, giving the device a premium appearance.
The rectangular rear camera module houses a dual-camera setup alongside an LED flash, while the Oppo branding is positioned near the bottom of the back panel.
The phone is also shown with:
- A flat display
- A centred hole-punch front camera
- Power button and volume keys on the right edge
- USB Type-C port
- Speaker grille
