OnePlus Price Hike in India: N6, N6x and Nord 6 Series Get Costlier Check New Prices Before You Buy

OnePlus has revised the prices of several smartphones in India, making some of its popular models more expensive than before. The latest price adjustment covers the OnePlus N6, OnePlus N6x, OnePlus Nord 6, OnePlus Nord CE6 and OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite.

Depending on the model and storage configuration, the price increase ranges from ₹1,000 to ₹4,000. The revision comes at a time when smartphone buyers are already seeing aggressive discounts and promotional pricing across the Indian market.

According to the latest listed prices, the OnePlus N6x now starts at ₹20,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, compared with its earlier price of ₹19,999. The 4GB + 128GB version has also moved up, from ₹20,999 to ₹22,999.

The OnePlus N6 has received a ₹2,000 increase on both configurations. Its 4GB + 128GB variant is now listed at ₹24,999, while the 6GB + 128GB model costs ₹26,999.

Things get even more interesting higher up the range. The OnePlus Nord 6 is now listed at ₹46,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB version costs ₹52,999. Both variants are ₹2,000 more expensive than their previous listed prices.

The OnePlus Nord CE6 has also seen its pricing revised to ₹37,999 and ₹41,999, depending on the configuration. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite now falls in the ₹28,999 to ₹34,999 price range.

OnePlus prices are higher, but buyers can still find discounts

There is a slight twist to the price hike. The revised listed prices do not necessarily represent the final amount every customer will pay.

Promotional offers on the OnePlus India online store can bring the effective selling price down on selected models. For instance, the Nord 6 has been seen at a promotional starting price of around ₹44,999, while the N6x has been available from ₹18,999.

This means buyers should not simply compare the revised MRP or listed price with the older price. Bank offers, coupons, exchange benefits and limited-period promotions can make a noticeable difference to the final bill.

The situation also highlights how quickly smartphone pricing can change. A phone that previously fitted comfortably within a particular budget can suddenly move closer to competitors in a higher price segment after a price revision.

Should you buy a OnePlus phone now?

For shoppers already considering one of these models, the price increase does not automatically mean the phones are poor value. However, the new pricing makes it more important to compare the effective price rather than relying only on the headline price.

The N6x, for example, sits closer to the ₹20,000–₹23,000 segment after the revision, while the Nord 6 moves further into the mid-range territory. At these prices, buyers may find more alternatives from competing brands, making discounts and specifications increasingly important.

The broader smartphone market has also been dealing with rising component costs, particularly for memory and storage. Recent industry reports have linked price revisions across multiple smartphone brands to increasing costs of components such as DRAM and NAND.

For consumers, the takeaway is simple: check the live selling price, available bank offers and variant-specific discounts before placing an order. The official listed price may be higher, but a promotional deal could still make some OnePlus models considerably cheaper.

With five models now carrying revised prices, OnePlus buyers in India may want to act carefully — because the difference between the listed price and the final deal could be worth several thousand rupees.
