The Realme 16x 5G is now available in India with a 144Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and a massive 7,000mAh battery. Here’s the price, launch offer and key specifications.
Realme has started selling its latest smartphone, the Realme 16x 5G, in India, just a day after the handset was officially launched. The new smartphone enters the market with a combination that is likely to attract buyers looking for a large battery and a high-refresh-rate display without moving into the premium price segment.
The biggest highlights include a 7,000mAh battery, a 144Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 50-megapixel rear camera. The phone also comes with support for 45W fast charging and runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
Realme 16x 5G price in India
The Realme 16x 5G is available in three configurations:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 25,999
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 27,999
- 6GB RAM + 256GB storage: Rs 30,999
The phone is offered in Endurance Brown and Glory White colour options and is available through Flipkart and the Realme India website.
First-sale offer brings price down by Rs 2,000
Realme is also offering an introductory discount to make the phone more attractive during its first sale.
Customers can get a flat Rs 2,000 discount, bringing the effective prices down to:
- Rs 23,999 for 4GB + 128GB
- Rs 25,999 for 6GB + 128GB
- Rs 28,999 for 6GB + 256GB
Alternatively, buyers can claim Rs 1,000 off on credit-card EMI transactions or receive an exchange benefit of up to Rs 3,000.
The company is also offering up to 10 months of no-cost EMI, allowing buyers to spread the payment instead of paying the entire amount upfront.
144Hz display is one of the major highlights
The Realme 16x 5G features a large 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1,570 pixels.
The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, along with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Realme claims brightness of up to 1,200 nits in HBM, which should help with outdoor visibility.
While the resolution remains HD+, the combination of a large panel and 144Hz refresh rate could make the phone particularly appealing to users who prioritise smoother scrolling and gaming.
MediaTek Dimensity 6300 powers the phone
Under the hood, the Realme 16x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Realme has also equipped the smartphone with a 5,300 sq mm AirFlow vapour chamber cooling system and its GT Boost gaming optimisation engine.
The company has also highlighted its software and gaming-focused features, including the in-house Flux Engine.
50MP camera and 8MP selfie shooter
For photography, the Realme 16x 5G gets a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture.
On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
Realme is also promoting AI-powered camera features, including AI Eraser, AI Ultra Clarity, Motion Photo and Dual-View Video Mode.
7,000mAh battery is the real attention-grabber
The biggest talking point is arguably the phone’s 7,000mAh battery.
The battery supports 45W fast charging, along with bypass charging and reverse charging. Realme has positioned the large-capacity battery as one of the handset’s major selling points, with the company claiming up to 156.2 hours of music playback and up to nine hours of gaming on a single charge.

For users who frequently spend long hours watching videos, gaming or browsing, the large battery could be one of the strongest reasons to consider the device.
Software, connectivity and design
The dual-SIM Realme 16x 5G runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 166.47 × 78.23 × 8.88mm and weighs 217 grams.
The device also carries IP65-rated protection and military-grade shock resistance, according to Realme’s launch information.

Is the Realme 16x 5G worth considering?
At an effective starting price of Rs 23,999, the Realme 16x 5G puts considerable emphasis on endurance and display smoothness.
The 7,000mAh battery, 144Hz refresh rate, 5G connectivity and Dimensity 6300 chipset make it a feature-packed option for buyers who value battery life and everyday performance.
However, buyers should also remember that the phone uses an HD+ LCD panel rather than a higher-resolution display. That trade-off could matter to users who prioritise screen sharpness over battery endurance.
For now, the first-sale discount gives the Realme 16x 5G a more interesting proposition than its launch prices suggest.
A massive battery, 144Hz screen and a Rs 2,000 launch discount Realme is clearly betting on value with the 16x 5G.
