Nothing has officially lifted the curtain on the design of its upcoming Nothing Phone 4b, giving smartphone enthusiasts a first look at what the company’s newest device will offer ahead of its July 7 launch. The launch also marks an important shift in Nothing’s smartphone strategy, as the brand moves away from its familiar ‘a’ series to introduce an all-new ‘b’ series lineup.

Described by the company as “the first device in a brand-new series,” the Nothing Phone 4b retains the brand’s signature transparent aesthetic while introducing subtle design refinements aimed at younger users looking for a stylish yet practical smartphone.

One of the biggest highlights is the refined unibody design, paired with the iconic Glyph Bar, which continues to be one of Nothing’s most recognizable features. The smartphone has also been showcased in a striking blue colour, although more colour variants are expected to be announced during the official launch event.

The rear panel stays true to Nothing’s transparent design philosophy and houses a dual-camera setup with an expanded camera module. While the overall styling shares similarities with the company’s CMF lineup, the Phone 4b carries a fresher identity that blends modern aesthetics with the brand’s minimalist approach.

According to Nothing, the Phone 4b has been “designed for a new generation of users”, balancing a bold personality with the practicality required for everyday use. The design language aims to make the smartphone instantly recognizable while remaining comfortable to use.

On the hardware front, the Nothing Phone 4b is expected to feature a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling and an enhanced viewing experience for gaming and multimedia.

Powering the device could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with the Adreno 810 GPU, offering reliable performance for daily tasks and mobile gaming. The smartphone is also expected to come with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, making it suitable for multitasking and content consumption.

Photography is likely to be handled by a 50MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, allowing users to capture detailed images and wider landscapes. On the battery front, the Phone 4b is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, ensuring all-day usage with quicker top-ups.

With its refreshed design, signature transparent look, and competitive specifications, the Nothing Phone 4b is shaping up to be a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone segment. More details, including pricing, availability, and additional features, will be revealed when the device officially debuts on July 7.
