Aishwarya Lekshmi has denied reports that she is part of Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Raaka, jokingly asking, “Somebody please cast me in the film.”

Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Raaka has been surrounded by speculation for months, with almost every new rumour about its cast or storyline adding another layer of curiosity. Now, Aishwarya Lekshmi has addressed reports linking her to the ambitious film and her response came with a playful request of her own.

Recent reports had claimed that Aishwarya was being considered for a role in Raaka. Some reports went a step further, suggesting that the actor could appear as a negative character.

Aishwarya, however, has now clarified that she is not part of the film.

Aishwarya Lekshmi Reacts to Raaka Casting Rumours

Speaking to India Today, Aishwarya dismissed the reports but appeared more than open to the idea of joining the project.

“No, I am not part of the film. Somebody please cast me in the film,” she said.

Her response effectively puts an end, at least for now, to speculation about her involvement in Raaka.

While Aishwarya has denied being attached to the project, curiosity surrounding the film’s actual ensemble continues to grow.

What Do We Know About Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Raaka?

Raaka marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and filmmaker Atlee, making it one of the most closely watched upcoming Indian films.

While the makers have kept official plot details tightly guarded, reports suggest the story could unfold across two different timelines.

Mrunal Thakur is reportedly expected to have a prominent role in the present-day storyline.

The film’s reported Vedic-era timeline, meanwhile, has been linked with some of Indian cinema’s biggest female stars, including Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna and Janhvi Kapoor.

However, several of these reported character and plot details have not yet been officially confirmed by the makers.

Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna and Janhvi Kapoor’s Reported Roles

Reports surrounding the period portion of Raaka suggest Deepika Padukone could portray a pregnant woman fighting for survival in the ancient timeline.

Her journey is reportedly connected with Rashmika Mandanna’s character, who has been described in reports as a guide and protector.

Janhvi Kapoor, meanwhile, has reportedly been linked to the role of a tribal queen with an important place in the period storyline.

If confirmed, Raaka would reunite Deepika with Atlee following their collaboration on Jawan, the 2023 blockbuster starring Shah Rukh Khan. It would also mark her first film alongside Allu Arjun.

Is Shah Rukh Khan Also Joining Raaka?

Another name repeatedly linked with the project is Shah Rukh Khan.

Reports suggest the superstar could make an extended cameo, with his scenes potentially being filmed during an international schedule.

The makers, however, have yet to officially reveal the full cast or confirm the extent of Shah Rukh Khan’s reported involvement.

Raaka Teasers Keep the Mystery Alive

Instead of revealing the storyline outright, the promotional material surrounding Raaka has so far leaned heavily into mystery.

A teaser associated with the project featured the intriguing line: “Beyond what seemed possible. We dared to imagine…”, further fuelling speculation about the scale and concept of the film.

An earlier “37” hint had similarly sparked theories among fans, although its actual significance remains unclear.

With Allu Arjun and Atlee joining forces and several major stars being linked to the project, Raaka continues to generate attention even before its full cast and storyline are officially unveiled.

As for Aishwarya Lekshmi, she has made her current status perfectly clear she isn’t in the film, but judging by her response, she certainly wouldn’t mind getting that call.
