Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are making the most of their family time before welcoming their second child. The beloved Bollywood couple recently stepped out for a quiet lunch date in Mumbai, where they enjoyed one of their favourite comfort foods—crispy benne dosa.

Videos from the outing quickly surfaced on social media, giving fans a glimpse of the couple’s simple yet heartwarming afternoon together.

A Simple Lunch Away From the Spotlight

On Tuesday, the star couple visited a popular restaurant in Mumbai known for its South Indian delicacies.

Keeping things casual, Deepika Padukone opted for a comfortable co-ord outfit, while Ranveer Singh was seen in a T-shirt and black trousers. Both completed their understated looks with face masks as they arrived and later exited the restaurant.

Despite being surrounded by security personnel, the couple appeared relaxed as they enjoyed their meal before heading back to their car.

In one of the viral videos, members of Deepika’s security team were also seen politely requesting photographers and onlookers not to film the couple while they were leaving the restaurant, respecting their privacy.

A Restaurant Close to Their Hearts

This isn’t the first time the couple has visited the popular eatery.

Earlier this year, Deepika and Ranveer celebrated the success of Ranveer’s film Dhurandhar 2 at the same café. The outing had generated significant buzz after the restaurant shared a cheerful selfie featuring the couple, Ranveer’s father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, and members of the restaurant staff.

The café’s playful social media post quickly went viral among fans.

Preparing to Welcome Their Second Child

The recent outing comes a few months after Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced that they are expecting their second child.

The announcement was shared through a heartfelt joint Instagram post featuring their daughter Dua Padukone Singh holding a positive pregnancy test while both parents gently held her hands. The couple chose to keep the caption minimal, posting only evil-eye emojis to mark the special occasion.

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in Italy in 2018, celebrating both Konkani and Sindhi wedding traditions. They welcomed their first child, Dua, in September 2024, and are now eagerly awaiting the newest addition to their family.

Even as they prepare for parenthood once again, both stars remain busy on the professional front.

Deepika Padukone is set to appear alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the much-awaited film King. She also has Raaka, directed by Atlee and co-starring Allu Arjun, in her upcoming lineup. Backed by Sun Pictures, the film is expected to release in 2027.
