Inside Preity Zinta’s Rs 17 Crore Pali Hill Home: Why the Actress Quietly Walked Away From Mumbai’s Luxury Address…

Preity Zinta may be preparing for her much-awaited return to the big screen with Lahore 1947, but away from the cameras, the Bollywood star has also been making calculated moves in the luxury real estate market. While fans speculated she might be returning to Mumbai after purchasing a premium apartment in Pali Hill, property records now tell a different story.

The actress had acquired a luxury apartment in Rustomjee Parishram, an upscale residential development in Bandra West, in October 2023. The residence, spread across approximately 1,474 square feet, included two dedicated parking spaces and additional exclusive space, taking the property’s estimated value to around Rs 17 crore.

Interestingly, this wasn’t a conventional property purchase. The apartment was allotted to Preity Zinta under a redevelopment agreement as Permanent Alternate Accommodation, replacing her earlier residence in the same building. The registration was completed in October 2023 after redevelopment work concluded, with the actress reportedly paying over Rs 85 lakh in stamp duty.

At the time, reports sparked widespread speculation that the actress, who has been living in California with her family, could be planning a permanent return to Mumbai. However, she never publicly confirmed those rumours.

Luxury Home Becomes a High-Value Exit

Rather than moving back, Preity Zinta appears to have treated the property as a valuable investment.

According to property registration records, she sold one apartment in the same building during late 2025 for more than Rs 14 crore. Soon after, she reportedly exited another premium apartment in Parishram by Rustomjee, located on the prestigious Nargis Dutt Road in Bandra West.

The second apartment was even larger, offering around 1,771 square feet of carpet area along with three dedicated parking spaces, highlighting the premium nature of the development in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential neighbourhoods.

A Global Real Estate Portfolio

Although she no longer owns property in the redeveloped Pali Hill tower, Preity Zinta’s real estate portfolio extends far beyond Mumbai.

Reports suggest the actress owns a luxury residence in Los Angeles, estimated to be worth between Rs 35 crore and Rs 40 crore. She is also believed to hold several residential and commercial investments across India valued at nearly Rs 25 crore.

Her investment pattern indicates a diversified approach maintaining a stable overseas residence while selectively investing in high-value Indian real estate rather than retaining a single flagship property.

Comeback on the Big Screen

While her real estate decisions continue to attract attention, fans are equally excited about Preity Zinta’s return to cinema. She is set to appear alongside Sunny Deol in Lahore 1947, one of the most anticipated Hindi films currently in production.

The actress has largely stayed away from films in recent years, focusing on family life and business ventures, making her comeback a major talking point among Bollywood fans.
