Ram Pothineni shoots a major action and song schedule for his directorial debut, RAPO23, during a lavish 15-day filming stint in Pondicherry.

Ram Pothineni has officially begun a major new shooting schedule for his much-awaited film RAPO23, with the production team moving to Pondicherry for an extensive 15-day shoot. The project has already generated significant buzz as it marks the actor’s directorial debut, making it one of the most ambitious ventures of his career.

After the film was formally launched in Hyderabad, shooting commenced immediately, and the makers are now focusing on one of the most important schedules that will shape the visual grandeur of the movie.

A 15-day schedule packed with action and music

The latest schedule in Pondicherry is expected to be one of the film’s biggest highlights. The team will shoot an elaborate song sequence choreographed by acclaimed dance master Brinda, known for creating visually stunning dance numbers.

Apart from the song, the schedule also includes several large-scale action sequences designed by celebrated stunt choreographer Vikram Mor, whose work in blockbuster films like KGF: Chapter 1, Kantara, and Karuppu has earned widespread appreciation.

The makers believe these action episodes will play a crucial role in establishing the film’s intense neo-noir atmosphere.

Ram Pothineni wears multiple hats

Unlike his previous projects, Ram Pothineni is not only playing the lead role but is also directing the film himself. Sources close to the production say the actor is personally supervising every creative aspect, ensuring that his vision is translated onto the screen exactly as planned.

The film is being bankrolled by Krishna Pothineni under the Rapo Cinematics banner, with the production reportedly being mounted on a grand scale backed by a substantial budget.

A psychological action thriller with a neo-noir twist

According to the makers, RAPO23 is a psychological action thriller set in a dark and gripping neo-noir world. The story has been conceived by Ram himself and promises a fresh cinematic experience that differs from conventional commercial entertainers.

The film aims to blend suspense, stylised action, and emotional depth, making it one of the most experimental projects in the actor’s filmography.

Strong technical team adds to expectations

The production has assembled an impressive technical crew to bring the ambitious vision to life.

National Award-winning cinematographer Thirunavukarasu (Thirru) is handling the visuals, while veteran stunt coordinator Peter Hein has joined Vikram Mor in crafting the film’s action sequences.

Adding to the film’s grand scale, renowned production designer AS Prakash is creating elaborate sets that are expected to complement the movie’s stylish neo-noir setting.

One of Ram Pothineni’s biggest films yet

With a unique storyline, high production values, and an experienced technical team, RAPO23 is steadily emerging as one of the most anticipated Telugu films currently in production.

As the Pondicherry schedule progresses, fans can expect more exciting updates from the makers, who are leaving no stone unturned to make Ram Pothineni’s directorial debut a memorable cinematic experience.
