Poco’s latest M-series smartphone brings a massive battery, Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon chipset, Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and up to six years of security updates.
New Delhi: Poco India has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the Poco M8 Power, a new M-series device aimed at users seeking long battery life, a vibrant display and reliable everyday performance at a competitive price.
The smartphone’s biggest highlight is its massive 8,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest battery-equipped smartphones in its segment. Combined with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, the device is designed to deliver extended usage without compromising on performance.
Large AMOLED Display with 120Hz Refresh Rate
The Poco M8 Power sports a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. The panel offers a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, 960Hz PWM dimming, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, promising vibrant colours and improved outdoor visibility.
For durability, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, while the phone carries an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, built on an efficient 4nm architecture. It is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, ensuring smooth day-to-day performance for multitasking and entertainment.
Massive 8,000mAh Battery with Reverse Charging
Battery life is the key selling point of the Poco M8 Power. The smartphone packs an 8,000mAh battery, which Poco claims can deliver up to 28 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge.
The device supports 45W wired fast charging and also offers 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge compatible accessories or other smartphones.

Camera and Software
For photography, the Poco M8 Power features a 50MP primary rear camera, accompanied by an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Both cameras support 1080p video recording at 30fps.
The smartphone ships with HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, out of the box. Poco has also committed to four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, ensuring software support up to Android 20.
Additional features include an IR blaster and AI-powered tools such as Circle to Search.
