On Friday, Trump invited reporters aboard his newly transformed £300 million Boeing 747-8, a luxury aircraft that has quickly earned the nickname “Flying White House.”
The aircraft, previously owned by the Qatari royal family, has undergone a rapid transformation in less than a year and will serve as a temporary presidential jet while Boeing struggles to complete the official replacement fleet.
The unveiling took place at Joint Base Andrews, the historic home of America’s presidential aircraft.

From private office suites and conference rooms to state-of-the-art briefing areas and luxury living quarters, the aircraft reportedly mirrors much of what the White House itself offers — just at 40,000 feet.
