If you were planning to bring home a new Citroën Aircross X, you may now have to stretch your budget a little further. Citroën India has announced a fresh price revision for select variants of the compact SUV, increasing prices by ₹15,000 with immediate effect.

The latest revision affects the premium Max variants of the Aircross X lineup. Buyers opting for either the five-seat or seven-seat configuration will now pay more, regardless of whether they choose the six-speed manual (MT) or six-speed automatic (AT) transmission.

Higher Variants Cross the ₹13 Lakh Mark

Following the latest revision, the starting price of the Aircross X Max range has moved beyond ₹13 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end version now costs nearly ₹14.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

Actual on-road prices will vary depending on the buyer’s state, applicable taxes, registration charges and dealership-level pricing.

Part of a Wider Price Revision Across Citroen’s Portfolio

The Aircross X is not the only model to witness a price increase. Citroën has updated prices across its Indian lineup this month as manufacturers continue to deal with higher production and logistics expenses.

Like several carmakers operating in India, the company has been facing increased raw material costs, fluctuating component prices and other operational challenges that have influenced vehicle pricing.

Engine and Transmission Options Remain Unchanged

While prices have gone up, the SUV itself remains mechanically unchanged.

The Aircross X continues to be powered by Citroën’s 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain remains one of the key highlights of the SUV, offering a balance of performance and everyday usability.

No changes have been announced to its features, equipment list or safety package as part of this latest price update.

Competition in the Compact SUV Segment

The Aircross X competes in India’s highly competitive compact SUV market, taking on entry and mid-level variants of popular rivals including the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Despite the price increase, Citroën is expected to continue positioning the Aircross X as a practical SUV with flexible seating options, turbo-petrol performance and a comfortable ride aimed at family buyers.

As the automotive industry continues to navigate higher manufacturing costs, buyers may see similar revisions from other manufacturers in the coming months.
