Citroen is looking to strengthen its presence in India’s competitive SUV market with the launch of the new Aircross Comfort Edition, a variant designed to enhance the in-cabin experience while keeping pricing attractive for customers.

Starting at Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom), the newly launched Comfort Edition brings a host of interior enhancements aimed at improving passenger comfort and premium appeal. The move comes as the French automaker continues to expand its product strategy in India with feature-focused updates rather than major mechanical changes.

Interestingly, while some variants carry a premium of Rs 20,000 over the standard trim, others offer the Comfort package at no additional cost, making the update even more attractive for prospective buyers.

Citroen has equipped the Comfort Edition with beige leatherette upholstery, giving the SUV a more upmarket appearance. The model also gets adjustable front and rear headrests, a feature many buyers have been requesting for improved passenger comfort during long journeys.

Additional soft-touch materials have been introduced across key touchpoints in the cabin, while subtle silver accents further elevate the overall interior ambiance.

The Aircross range now starts with the You MT variant priced at Rs 8.89 lakh, while the You Comfort Edition MT is available at Rs 9.09 lakh.

The turbocharged variants also maintain price parity. The Plus Turbo MT Comfort Edition carries the same Rs 11.99 lakh price tag as the standard model.

At the top end, the lineup extends to the Max Turbo AT 7-seater variant, priced at Rs 14.37 lakh (ex-showroom).

The launch marks Citroen’s second major announcement this month following the introduction of the Citroen eC3-based crossover offering in India.

New Customisation Packs Offer Greater Flexibility

Beyond the Comfort Edition, Citroen has also introduced a range of optional upgrade packs that allow customers to tailor the Aircross according to their needs and budget.

The You Pack, priced at Rs 36,600, adds several convenience features including a reverse parking camera, fog lamps, and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity.

For buyers seeking a smaller upgrade, the Plus Pack is available at Rs 8,460 and includes features such as a reverse camera and wireless charging functionality.

Meanwhile, the premium Max Pack, priced at Rs 40,000, focuses on enhancing the ownership experience with luxury-oriented additions. The package includes a dual dashcam system with audio alerts and a premium JBL sound system paired with an amplifier for improved audio performance.
