Apple iOS 27 Public Beta: Expected Launch Date, New Siri AI Features and Supported iPhones
Apple is expected to release the first iOS 27 Public Beta soon, introducing a redesigned Siri AI experience, Liquid Glass interface improvements and several new features for supported iPhones.

New Delhi: Apple Inc. is reportedly preparing to release the first public beta of iOS 27, giving millions of iPhone users an early opportunity to experience the company’s next-generation mobile operating system before its official rollout.

The public beta is expected to follow the release of the third developer beta and will introduce several new features, including an AI-powered Siri, interface refinements and system optimisations. However, users should remember that beta software is still under development and may contain bugs, performance issues and higher battery consumption.

When Will the iOS 27 Public Beta Be Available?

According to reports, Apple is expected to begin rolling out the iOS 27 Public Beta on July 14, with Indian users likely to receive the update around 10:30 PM IST.

Those enrolled in Apple’s Public Beta Software Program will be able to download the update directly by navigating to:

Big Siri AI Upgrade Headlines the Update

One of the biggest highlights of iOS 27 is the significant upgrade to Siri, powered by Apple’s expanding artificial intelligence capabilities.

The new AI-powered Siri is expected to offer smarter conversations, improved contextual understanding and deeper integration across apps. Apple is also reportedly introducing a dedicated Siri app as part of the new experience.

However, the AI features may not become available immediately after installing the beta. Eligible users could be required to join a waitlist before gaining access to the new Siri capabilities.

Refreshed Design and New Features

Beyond Siri, iOS 27 is expected to bring several visual and functional improvements.

Among the most noticeable additions is an enhanced Liquid Glass design language, including a new transparency slider that allows users to adjust the translucency of interface elements.

Other expected features include:

  • Custom alarm volume controls.
  • A custom equaliser for AirPods.
  • Improved connectivity and system stability.
  • Performance optimisations for older iPhones through a redesigned CPU scheduler.
  • App-specific enhancements.
  • General bug fixes and software refinements.

These improvements aim to deliver a smoother and more personalised user experience across supported devices.
