To mark a decade of Prime Day, Amazon has introduced temporary price cuts on its membership plans.
The standard Amazon Prime Membership has been reduced from ₹1,499 to ₹999 annually, representing a discount of ₹500.
Other membership plans have also received price reductions:
- Prime Lite: ₹599 per year (previously ₹799)
- Prime Shopping Edition: ₹299 per year (previously ₹399)
The move is expected to encourage more users to join the Prime ecosystem before the sale begins.
SBI and Axis Bank Users Get Extra Benefits
Amazon is also rolling out several financial incentives to attract shoppers during the event.
Customers making purchases through State Bank of India (SBI) and Axis Bank credit cards will receive an instant 10% discount, including transactions completed through EMI options.
Meanwhile, holders of the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card will continue to enjoy unlimited 5% cashback on eligible purchases.
For customers planning larger purchases, Amazon Pay Later will offer interest-free EMI options spread across three installments for orders valued at ₹1,500 and above.
More Than 500 New Products Set to Launch
One of the biggest attractions of Prime Day 2026 will be the launch of over 500 new products from more than 100 national and international brands.

New “Prime Playback” Feature Adds a Personal Touch
In perhaps the most unique announcement, Amazon is introducing Prime Playback, an AI-generated personalised experience designed to showcase a member’s history on the platform.
The feature creates a customised video highlighting shopping milestones, estimated savings, favourite purchases, and entertainment viewing history.
Amazon says the feature began rolling out to selected users from June 18 and will gradually become available to more Prime members.
Big Discounts on Amazon Devices
Amazon’s own smart device ecosystem will also receive significant discounts during the sale.
Products such as Amazon Echo smart speakers, smart displays, and Fire TV streaming devices are expected to receive discounts of up to 45%.
