Smartphone buyers in India may have to spend more on several popular models from Xiaomi and Redmi, with a new report claiming that the company has increased the prices of multiple handsets across its portfolio.
According to information shared by tipster Sanju Chaudhary, the reported price revisions affect smartphones including the Xiaomi 17T, Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi 15 5G, Redmi 15C 5G and Redmi 15A. The reported increases range from ₹500 to as much as ₹5,000, depending on the model and storage configuration.
However, there is an important catch: Xiaomi has not officially announced these price changes. The revised prices are therefore best treated as reported figures until the company confirms them.
Xiaomi 17T Price Reportedly Increased by ₹5,000
Among the smartphones mentioned in the report, the Xiaomi 17T appears to have received the sharpest price increase.
The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, which was reportedly launched at ₹59,999, is now said to be priced at ₹64,999. Similarly, the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is reportedly available at ₹69,999, compared with its earlier launch price of ₹64,999.
If accurate, both configurations have become ₹5,000 more expensive, making the price revision particularly significant for customers looking to buy Xiaomi’s higher-end smartphone.

Redmi Note 15 5G Also Gets a Reported Price Revision
The Redmi Note 15 5G is also said to have become costlier in India.
The reported price of the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model has increased from ₹26,999 to ₹28,999. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 256GB version is reportedly now priced at ₹31,999, up from ₹29,999.
That represents a ₹2,000 increase for both variants.
Redmi 15 5G Price Goes Up by ₹1,000
The reported price hike also extends to the Redmi 15 5G, powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset.
According to the leaked pricing information, all three configurations have received a ₹1,000 increase:
- 6GB + 128GB: ₹21,499, up from ₹20,499
- 8GB + 128GB: ₹23,499, up from ₹22,499
- 8GB + 256GB: ₹25,499, up from ₹24,499
For buyers in the competitive budget and mid-range smartphone segment, even a ₹1,000 increase could influence the decision between different models.
Redmi 15C 5G and Redmi 15A Prices Also Reportedly Revised
The Redmi 15C 5G has reportedly received price increases across its variants. Two configurations are said to be ₹1,500 more expensive, while another has reportedly seen a ₹500 increase.
The reported revised prices are:
- Redmi 15C 5G: ₹18,499
- Redmi 15C 5G: ₹20,499
- Redmi 15C 5G: ₹21,499
The exact variant-wise pricing should be checked with Xiaomi or authorised retailers before making a purchase.
The entry-level Redmi 15A has also reportedly seen a price revision. Its 4GB + 64GB variant is said to have increased from ₹14,999 to ₹15,999. The 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB models are reportedly priced at ₹17,499 and ₹19,499, respectively.
Why Are Smartphone Prices Increasing?
The reported Xiaomi price hike comes at a time when the smartphone industry is facing rising component and manufacturing costs. Memory prices, supply-chain pressures and fluctuations in the broader electronics market can all influence the final retail price of smartphones.
