Ukraine Strikes 2,000 Km Inside Russia… Zelensky’s New Long-Range Drones Send a Powerful Message
In one of its deepest drone operations yet, Ukraine targeted a major Russian oil refinery in the Tyumen region, as President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed the development of new long-range drones capable of striking targets more than 3,000 kilometres away.
The conflict between Ukraine and Russia has entered a new phase after Ukrainian forces launched a drone strike targeting a key oil refinery located nearly 2,000 kilometres inside Russian territory.
The operation, aimed at the Tyumen oil refinery in Russia’s Ural region, highlights Kyiv’s growing ability to conduct long-range attacks far beyond the front lines of the war.
According to Russian officials, emergency services were deployed to the refinery after debris from the drone attack fell near the facility. Tyumen Governor Alexander Moor stated that preliminary assessments indicated the refinery itself had not suffered significant damage.
He added that workers at the site had been safely evacuated as a precaution while authorities assessed the situation.
