Shah Rukh Khan Pays ₹37 Crore to Reclaim His First Home with Gauri Khan, Becomes Sole Owner of Their Delhi Love Nest
The Bollywood superstar has reportedly acquired the remaining floors of the Panchsheel Park residence where he and Gauri Khan began their married life, making the property a complete family-owned landmark filled with cherished memories.
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan, one of India’s biggest film icons, has reportedly made an emotional investment rather than just another real estate purchase. The superstar has acquired the second and third floors of his family residence in South Delhi’s Panchsheel Park for an estimated ₹37 crore, becoming the sole owner of the entire property that holds a special place in his and Gauri Khan’s life.
According to reports, Shah Rukh already owned the basement and first floor of the building. With the latest acquisition, ownership of the entire residential property is now under his name, bringing together a home that has witnessed some of the most significant moments in the couple’s journey.
Unlike many of his luxury properties across India and abroad, this Delhi residence is believed to carry immense sentimental value. It was here that Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan started their married life in 1991, before relocating to Mumbai, where Shah Rukh eventually built one of the most successful careers in Indian cinema.
The property reportedly stands on a 1,200-square-yard plot, covering nearly 10,800 square feet. Real estate reports estimate the transaction value at approximately ₹37 crore, with the land itself carrying a premium valuation due to its location in one of Delhi’s most prestigious residential neighbourhoods.
For Shah Rukh, the purchase appears to be much more than a financial investment. It represents a return to his roots and the preservation of a home deeply connected to his personal life. Both Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan spent their early years in Delhi before moving to Mumbai in pursuit of the actor’s dreams. Decades later, the city continues to remain emotionally significant for the family.

The emotional attachment to the residence has also been reflected in Gauri Khan’s earlier comments about the house. Speaking in a previous interview, she described the Delhi home as a place built around family memories rather than luxury.

She had shared that the idea behind designing the house was to keep every important chapter of their lives under one roof. Over the years, the family collected countless memories, travel souvenirs and meaningful possessions, all of which became part of the home’s identity.
One of the most touching spaces inside the residence is what Gauri calls the “nostalgia wall.” The wall reportedly displays treasured keepsakes from every member of the family, includi Suhana Khan’s , Aryan Khan‘s badminton racket, AbRam Khan’s first birthday gift, artwork created by Shah Rukh Khan, vintage postcards and several antique gifts exchanged between the couple over the years.
For Gauri, every room reflects a different phase of their lives—from raising their children to watching them grow into adults. The house has become a living archive of the Khan family’s journey, making it one of their most treasured possessions.
While Shah Rukh Khan continues to own some of the country’s most famous properties, including the iconic Mannat in Mumbai, this latest purchase highlights that not every real estate decision is driven by luxury or investment. Sometimes, the greatest value lies in preserving the memories attached to a place.
By securing complete ownership of the Panchsheel Park residence, Shah Rukh Khan has not only expanded his property portfolio but also ensured that the home where his married life began remains an enduring part of the Khan family’s legacy.
