Redmi K100 Pro Max design leaks just before launch: Flat display, ‘Sound by Bose’ branding and a surprising camera makeover revealed
A leaked promotional render and Redmi’s latest teaser have fueled excitement ahead of the July 31 unveiling, hinting at a refreshed design, premium audio partnership and flagship-level hardware.
The countdown to Redmi’s next flagship smartphone has entered its final stage, and a fresh leak has given smartphone enthusiasts their clearest glimpse yet of what could be the Redmi K100 Pro Max. Just a day before its expected debut at the ChinaJoy 2026 event, a promotional image believed to be official has surfaced online, revealing several design changes that could set the device apart from its predecessor.
According to the leaked render shared by tipster TechHome100, the upcoming flagship appears to feature a modern flat-display design, a redesigned rectangular rear camera module and an eye-catching red finish. One of the biggest talking points from the leak is the “Sound by Bose” branding placed on the rear panel, suggesting that Redmi may be collaborating with the renowned audio company to deliver an enhanced sound experience.
Redmi teaser adds more mystery
While the leaked image grabbed headlines, Redmi itself has also been building anticipation through official teasers on Weibo. The company recently shared a partially hidden image of the smartphone’s rear panel ahead of the ChinaJoy 2026 event.
Interestingly, the teaser cleverly arranged the silhouettes of three smartphones to resemble the number 100, a subtle reference to the upcoming K100 series without explicitly revealing the device’s name.

The teaser and the leaked render both point towards a redesigned camera island positioned in the top-left corner, while the power button and volume keys appear to remain on the right side of the frame. The overall styling looks familiar to last year’s Redmi K90 Pro Max, but with a cleaner and more premium appearance.
Flagship specifications expected
Although Redmi has not officially confirmed the hardware specifications, reports suggest that the K100 lineup will include three smartphones Redmi K100, Redmi K100 Pro, and Redmi K100 Pro Max.

Earlier this week, a mysterious Redmi handset reportedly appeared on Geekbench, featuring Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 16GB RAM, and Android 16. However, the benchmark listing did not specify which model was being tested.
Rumours also hint at an ultra-smooth 185Hz refresh rate, making the phone an attractive option for gamers and users seeking premium display performance.
Official launch just around the corner
Redmi has already confirmed that it will unveil a new smartphone during the ChinaJoy 2026 event on July 31. While the company has stopped short of revealing the product’s identity, multiple leaks strongly indicate that the spotlight will be on the Redmi K100 series.
With just hours left before the official announcement, all eyes are now on Redmi to see whether the leaked design, premium audio branding and flagship specifications turn out to be accurate. If the rumours hold true, the Redmi K100 Pro Max could emerge as one of the brand’s most ambitious smartphones yet.
