Mahindra BE 6 Update Expected: Triple-Screen Dashboard, New Features, Range & August 15 Launch Details
The Mahindra BE 6 is expected to receive a premium triple-screen dashboard and updated cabin features as part of its annual model refresh.

Mahindra & Mahindra could soon give one of its most successful electric SUVs a significant technology upgrade. According to industry reports, the Mahindra BE 6 is expected to receive a host of new features as part of its annual model update, with the biggest highlight likely to be a triple-screen dashboard setup similar to the brand’s latest premium electric offerings.

Rather than introducing a full-fledged facelift, Mahindra is expected to focus on enhancing the cabin experience and in-car technology, making the BE 6 even more appealing to EV buyers in India.

August 15 Could Be a Big Day for Mahindra

Every year, Mahindra uses August 15 to unveil new vehicles, showcase concept models, and outline its future mobility strategy. This year is expected to be no different.

Reports suggest the updated BE 6 could be introduced alongside the Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift (2026) and the Mahindra Vision S, making the Independence Day event one of the company’s biggest product showcases of the year.

While the automaker has not officially confirmed the BE 6 update, expectations are high that the electric SUV will receive several premium additions without altering its core mechanical package.

Triple-Screen Cabin May Become the Biggest Highlight

The most talked-about upgrade is the possible introduction of a triple-screen dashboard, a layout already seen on the Mahindra XEV 9e and the upcoming XEV range.

If introduced, the additional display could significantly improve the in-cabin experience by offering enhanced infotainment, navigation, and passenger entertainment features.

Apart from the new display layout, reports also indicate that Mahindra may introduce:

  • A refreshed interior colour scheme
  • Improved cabin ergonomics
  • Better dashboard layout
  • Enhanced premium feel inside the cabin

The current BE 6 features dual 12.3-inch displays finished in a black-and-grey interior theme. The updated model is expected to take the premium quotient a step further.

It remains unclear whether these upgrades will be available across all variants or reserved for higher trims.

No Major Mechanical Changes Expected

While the cabin could receive noticeable improvements, the Mahindra BE 6’s powertrain is expected to remain unchanged.

The electric SUV is likely to continue offering two battery pack options:

  • 59 kWh battery pack
  • 79 kWh battery pack

According to Mahindra’s claimed figures:

  • The 59 kWh version offers a driving range of up to 556 km on a single charge.
  • The 79 kWh battery pack delivers a claimed range of up to 683 km, making it one of the longest-range electric SUVs in its class.

Power will continue to come from a rear-mounted electric motor producing 286 hp and 380 Nm of peak torque, delivering strong performance while maintaining rear-wheel-drive dynamics.

A Key Model in Mahindra’s EV Growth Story

Since its launch in 2024, the Mahindra BE 6 has emerged as one of India’s most popular electric SUVs. The model has played an important role in strengthening Mahindra’s position in the country’s rapidly expanding EV market, helping the company secure the second spot among electric passenger vehicle manufacturers.

With demand for feature-rich electric SUVs continuing to rise, the expected updates could further strengthen the BE 6’s appeal against existing and upcoming rivals.

For now, Mahindra has not officially confirmed the feature additions or launch timeline. Buyers will have to wait until the company’s August 15 event to see whether the rumoured triple-screen setup and cabin enhancements become a reality.
