Arvind Kejriwal sends an emotional message to over 22 lakh students ahead of Re-NEET 2026, urging them to stay calm and focused.

With just days left for the crucial Re-NEET 2026 examination, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sent out an emotional message to over 22 lakh students preparing to appear for the test again.

The re-exam, scheduled for June 21, 2026, comes after the original NEET UG 2026 was cancelled following a massive paper leak controversy, leaving lakhs of aspirants stressed and uncertain about their future.

In a video message shared on his social media platforms, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor acknowledged the mental and emotional burden students have faced.

‘Appearing Twice Is Not Easy’

Addressing students directly, Kejriwal said he understood the pressure of preparing for such a competitive exam not once, but twice in the same month.

“Hello kids, how are you? Sunday is your NEET exam, I hope you are prepared. I know you have suffered enough, because appearing for this exam twice in a month is not an easy task. Even appearing for it once is super difficult,” he said.

His words struck a chord with many students and parents, who have been voicing concerns over exam-related stress since the cancellation.

Focus Only on the Exam, Says Kejriwal

Kejriwal urged students to leave behind the controversy and focus entirely on their performance.

He encouraged them to stay calm and confident.

“Forget everything else and only concentrate on your preparation now. Appear for the exam with a calm mind, and I am sure you will come out with flying colours,” he said.

He further added that he believes the students will perform well and go on to become successful doctors.

Rahul Gandhi Launches ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’

Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also stepped into the issue, using the re-NEET controversy to launch a campaign demanding reforms in India’s education system.

Through his ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ initiative, Rahul called on students to raise their voices against problems like paper leaks, exam irregularities and high education fees.

In his message on X, Rahul said:

“If you’ve suffered because of paper leaks, exam issues, or high fees, if this education system has shattered your dreams, then ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ is your voice.”

The campaign has quickly gained traction among students frustrated with repeated examination controversies.

The original NEET UG 2026 exam was held on May 3, but was cancelled on May 12 after allegations of paper leaks surfaced from multiple states.

Following public outrage, the Union Education Ministry announced a re-examination.

Now, over 22 lakh aspirants will once again sit for what is considered India’s biggest medical entrance exam.

A Crucial Day Ahead

For lakhs of students, June 21 is not just another exam day — it is a second chance at their dreams.

After weeks of uncertainty, emotional strain, and intense preparation, the focus now shifts back to performance.

As political leaders continue to debate reforms, students are being reminded of one thing: stay calm, trust your preparation, and give it your best shot.
