Kartik Aaryan has reportedly suffered a severe knee injury while shooting an intense action sequence for his upcoming film with director Kabir Khan. The incident reportedly occurred during the final days of the shoot, when the team was filming several major action sequences for the yet-to-be-titled project.
According to a report by India Today, Kartik had been undergoing extensive training with action coaches ahead of the demanding sequences. However, during one of the shoots, the actor sustained a serious injury to his knee and was subsequently taken to a hospital for medical attention.
Kartik Aaryan to Undergo Knee Surgery
A source close to the production reportedly told India Today that Kartik Aaryan has been admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital and is currently receiving medical care.
The source said that doctors are expected to perform knee surgery, following which the actor will need to take rest for a few days before returning to work.
The injury comes at a crucial point in the production, with the actor reportedly involved in some of the film’s most demanding action sequences.
Kartik had been preparing extensively for the role, undergoing rigorous physical training with professional action coaches to perform the sequences.
Actor Expected to Return to Work After Recovery
Following the surgery, Kartik is expected to take a short break to allow his knee to recover.
Once he is medically fit, the actor is expected to resume his professional commitments. Among his upcoming projects is Anurag Basu’s yet-untitled film, which remains part of his busy schedule.
